I had heard of the Outsider Military. My friends at school would always talk about how they wanted to be in the Outsider Military. And here I was...

Running...

Running for my life to make it to the train station...

I wasn't going to make it...

I was running out of breath...

But I kept up with everyone else...

We were so close...

The cops were trailing us...

They were so close to catching us...

But...

They...

Stopped...

Right in the middle of a busy road...

All of them...

All of them got hit...

I turned around to see them stop and get hit. I slowed down to a jog and then stopped. Everyone else started slowing down. We all watched the cars turn around and head the opposite direction of us. We all then started walking toward the train station which wasn't that far.

I opened the door and went inside. Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to look at us. I could understand why they would stop everything there doing just to look at us but then they started staring. They acted like they had never seen a human being before. I mean yeah, we were dirty, covered in sweat, mud, and dirt, but staring? I don't know...

I went up to the front desk, "When does the next train leave?"

"Um...do you have a ticket?" the lady asked in a stern tone.

"Yeah, it's in my bag," I said while rummaging through my bag to find it.

"The next train leaves in 15 minutes, may I ask where you are heading?"

"Outsider Territory."

Everyone stopped. They started staring again.

She cleared her throat, "You're going to the Outsider Territory...?"

"Uh...yeah?"

"We don't have trains leading out there, sorry, goodbye." she said trying to get us to leave.

"You do, I see the fucking tracks." I said pointing towards the screen showing the tracks to the Outsider Military Base.

"Excuse me? What did you just say?" she asked while standing up from her seat.

"I said, I see the fucking tracks." I said louder than before.

"Well, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." she said pointing towards the door.

"Why? Is it because I said 'fuck'?"

"Leave. Now."

I heard an engine start and looked at the screen to see that the train was getting ready to leave. I went and picked up my stuff, "Okay, when I start running, follow behind me, got it?" I whispered to my little group.

They all nodded. I turned back around to the lady with my bag on my back. She smiled and said, "Leave."

As soon as she said that I ran. Everyone behind me too. I looked around for the train and saw it getting ready to take off. I started sprinting. I jumped onto the side and threw my bags inside and helped everyone else on. The lady, she just stood there and watched us. She didn't do anything. Just watched and then turned around and walked away. The train started moving. We were off. To the Outsider Military Base.
