Chapter 9- Hepatica is near...

    Teddy continues onward as her surroundings went dark and waterfalls streamed down. Teddy then noticed Sans in a sentry station. She walked up to him. "Hey, blue rose. What are you doing here?" Teddy asked as she giggled. "What? Haven't heard of a guy with two jobs before?" Sans said as he laughed as well. "I won't judge...well I should get going, I still need to find my sisters... have you seen them come by any chance?" Teddy asked as she noticed a star hovering beside the sentry station. "Nah, I haven't kiddo." Sans replied. "Oh, okay then..." Teddy said as she touches the star. ( The sound of rushing water filled you with determination. ) Teddy the touches the SAVE button and looks back at Sans. "Well, good luck on finding them, black rose." Sans says as Teddy starts to walk. Teddy waves with a smile as she walks away "thanks!" Teddy yells. "Now... Where would they be?" Teddy asked to herself as Pecheur shape-shifts into his ghost and looks around with her. Teddy continues to walk as she calls out her sisters' names repeatedly. She hears a voice and rushes to tall grass in the distance ahead of her. Pecheur rushes to her and camouflages like the tall grass, blending in. Teddy peeks her head out a bit as she overhears a conversation.
    Teddy notices California Poppy walk towards a monster standing with armor in the shadows. "H...HI, HEPATICA! I'M HERE WITH MY DAILY REPORT...UHH...REGARDING THE HUMANS I CALLED YOU ABOUT EARLIER..." California Poppy says in a low tone. Hepatica said something back to him but it was too quiet for Teddy to hear what they are saying. "HUH? DID I FIGHT THEM? ...Y-YES! OF COURSE I DID! I FOUGHT THEM VALIANTLY!" California Poppy says in a heroic stance. Hepatica replied back to him silently. "...WHAT? DID I CAPTURE THEM...? W-W-WELL... NO. I TRIED VERY HARD, HEPATICA, BUT IN THE END... I FAILED." California Poppy says with a sigh. Hepatica talks in a whisper again. "...W-WHAT?  YOU'RE GOING TO TAKE THE HUMANS' SOULS YOURSELF... BUT HEPATICA, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DESTROY THEM! YOU SEE..." He stutters as he walks up to the shadow but then backs up in fright. "...I UNDERSTAND. I'LL HELP YOU IN ANY WAY I CAN." California Poppy says then walks away. Teddy sighs of relief then accidentally trips on a piece of tall grass. Hepatica hears a noise then walks up to the edge and pulls out a spear. Teddy covers her mouth and hides as much as possible to not be seen. Hepatica looks around, observing their surrounding then backs up back to the shadows. Teddy panicked a bit until Hepatica suddenly disappeared.
    Teddy then crawls out the grass as Pecheur shape-shifts back into a rose. A small monster runs out the grass... It seems like they have no arms. Teddy turns to look at the kid in confusion. "Yo... did you see the way she was staring at you...? That... was AWESOME! I'm soooo jealous! What'd you do to get her attention..? Ha ha. C'mon! Let's go watch her beat up some bad guys" the kid says as they start to run off but trips. The kid picks their self up and run off again. Teddy giggles a bit, looking at their confidence. Teddy then notices a star in front of her. She walks up to it and touches it. ( A feeling of dread hangs over you... But you stay determined ) Teddy then touches the SAVE button and walks off. Teddy continues to yell for her sisters and walk as she then suddenly gets interrupted by a glowing spear in her face. She notices Hepatica with spears and runs quickly. Hepatica continued to follow her and throw spears at her as Pecheur dodged them for Teddy. She runs into tall grass and stays quiet. Hepatica stomps into the grass and lifts her spear. She then strikes it toward the grass. Teddy gasp as she noticed it hit the monster child she met a while back. Hepatica awkwardly puts the child down and walks away. Teddy gets out the grass as Monster Kid follows her. "Yo... Did you see that...? She just... TOUCHED ME! I'm never washing my face ever again!" The child said as they start to run but trips on their face, picks them self up and runs off. Teddy giggles and walks off also. She notices Sans beside a telescope. "Hey Blue Rose. What brings you here?" Teddy asks with a giggle. "Nothing much... But wanna try out this telescope? Since you're my best pal, I'll let you use it free." Sans says with a grin. Teddy goes up to the telescope and puts her eye at the telescope. "I don't see anything except red..." Teddy says. Sans starts to laugh as she removes her eye from the telescope. Teddy tilts her head a bit, confused. "What is so funny?" Teddy asks as her house raised. Sans falls to the floor laughing. Pecheur looks up at Teddy and laughs also. "WHAT IS SO FUNNY, GUYS?!" Teddy says as she starts to get a bit mad. Pecheur shape-shifts into a mirror and shows teddy a ketchup mark on her eye. Sans gets up as he continues laughing. Teddy gives Sans a small stink eye and nudges Him playfully. "Ha ha, so funny" Teddy laughs with sarcasm. " what can i say... I'm a jokester. Also, I saw your sisters earlier so you better ketchup to them!" Sans winks at Teddy. Teddy giggles and starts to walk off. "Okay thanks Blue Rose, you are very Sansational! " Teddy giggles as she leaves.
    She notices a trail of echo flowers. "hmm..." Teddy walks up to the first echo flower and hears a passing conversation echo from the flower. "So... I wanted to talk to you about something but Teddy was around..." Teddy tilted her head as she starts to think. "Chara...?" She says in her head as she goes up to the next echo flower with a echo of a passing conversation. "What is it, Sis?" Teddy continues to walk onward as she finds more echo flowers ahead. She walks up to them and hears the echo of a passing conversation. "Well... Is it just me or does Flowey seem like Asriel...? I mean, he did know our names and knew we came here before..." Teddy thinks more into the conversation. "Asriel... The one I saw crossed in the picture with them." Teddy goes to the last echo flower. "Actually... I think you may be right. But, does mom and dad know that it's him...?" Teddy listens as she thinks. "Mom and dad?" Teddy looks at Pecheur then they both shrug and leave the Echo Flower room. Teddy continued onward then notices a Statue with an umbrella. She notices Aki and Chara are there sitting in front of it sharing an umbrella together. Teddy runs up to them.     "There you are! I have been looking for you both!" Teddy yells. Aki and Chara look at her in surprise then jump up and group hug her. "Are you okay, little sis?!" Aki asks. "I'm so sorry for hurting you Teddy! D-does it still hurt..?" Chara asks as she raises Teddy's arm up lightly to examine the wound. "Yeah. I'm fine. Blue Rose helped me." Teddy says calmly and smiles. "Okay good" Aki and Chara sigh in relief. "Now... Let's go shall we?" Chara says while picking up the umbrella and raises it over her head. Aki and Teddy nod as they go under the umbrella together and walk away.
