"You can still see some of the parts of the wreck, two cars collided head-on-"

I sighed and turned off the TV. They're still talking about it.

I don't think Mark will ever forgive himself.

Piper is currently sleeping right now, from all of the pain meds they make her tired. I had been visiting her frequently, my green hair fading, turning my hair a little blond.

Mark got released from the hospital with a broken leg and a concussion, but Piper got the worst. A shattered foot, stitches in the head, and she messed up her arm. Mark is here everyday and I had to persuade him to go home and take a shower.

Piper didn't wear her seatbelt because she was laying down in the backseat. If she did, she wouldn't have had these injuries. She got thrown from the car, which at first, I thought was impossible since she was in the backseat. But it happened.

She almost died.

Piper woke up crying.

"What's wrong? You didn't sleep very long." I said, rubbing her back.

"My head hurts."

She wasn't allowed to move that much, mostly because of the stitches and arm and foot. So she just lays there, bored out of her mind.

She usually wakes up like this, from pain or a nightmare. She's on a schedule now, she has to sleep at a certain time, eat at a certain time, and wake up at a certain time.

"Just try going to sleep honey, you have another hour."

It takes a while, but she finally calms down.

"When will I leave?" She asked, staring at the ceiling.

"I don't know." I said, brushing the hair out of her face. But she smacked my hand away.

"Don't do that." I said sternly.

"Everyone treats me like I'm so fragile and I hate it. You guys just don't understand." She said, turning her head the opposite way from me.

"We're just trying to protect you-"

"Get out." She said.

"Come on Piper, don't be like that-" I said trying to negotiate with her.

"Do I have to say it again?! Get the hell out!" She said pointing to the door and laying back down.

I grabbed my phone and walked out of the room, I saw a nurse go by.

"Excuse me, uh, do you think you could keep an eye on that girl in room 147?"

"Sure thing honey." She smiled and walked the other way, I'm guessing to grab all of Piper's medicine.

I started to call Marks cell, and it was a few rings until he picked up.

"Hey. So Piper kinda got upset with me earlier, but she just wants to be alone for a while." I said grabbing the keys from my pocket.

"What happened?" He asked, clearly concerned, and I heard commotion in the background.

"Just... Don't come up here. She asked when she was leaving and I said I didn't know. Let her be alone for a while."

He sighed, but agreed.

Piper POV

Honestly, I'm mad at everything.

First of all I can't mix my medicine with the pain killers, so I'm either always angry or depressed. Second of all, I feel like relapsing and third, I just wish everyone would leave me alone.
