Fruit Basket

Chapter 2

That is how I envision Kim Saura or Saura. Very cute, innocent sweet and cheerful looking.

I called it mom, the walk to the school was silent. I couldn't bring myself to say anything . We got closer to the familiar building. The front of the school was covered with boys and girls wearing the same navy blue/white uniforms. Approaching , I spotted Yooni and Kira. Yooni was wearing her normal uniform; long skirt, rolled up sleeves. Her long blonde hair flew in the wind as a breeze went by, besides her tough, tom-boy look, she looked like a model!  And Kira wore her same dark navy blue outfit; shorter skirt than Yooni but still long. A lot of people fear Kira, she's is into that psychic type things. If something is wrong ,she will sense some thing immediately. Kira calls it electric signals, it gives her a sense of shock.

"Thank you very much for walking with me Jinyoung! It was wonderful company , I'll see you around!" I brightly smiled. He gave me a toothy smirk, which made his eyes squint a little.
"Goodbye Ms. Kim Saura." He slightly bowed.
-a few minutes later

"KIM SAURA!" A high pitched voice boomed through the halls making me stop dead in my tracks. I mentally groaned ; the Park Jinyoung Fan club. I gripped onto my books tightly. Oh mom, what am I going to do. The three seniors marched towards me. I slowly gulped. "Y-yes?"
The leader of the club, who had brown hair that was always pulled back with a headband approached very closely to me, making me back up against the wall. Remain calm Saura, remain calm.
" YOU came to school with Prince Jinyoung." She snapped. "Only the hottest guy in school." The second member dreamily said while twirling her pigtails. "Walking with...you." The third member scoffed, flipping her short hair. "EXPLAIN" The leader sternly said. I just blinked at them. The second member cleared her throat waiting for my response.

"W-we just ran into each other that's all." I tried to sound as innocent as possible.
               "I don't believe ANY WORD you just sa-"  "HEY! Bird brain, I suggest you step away from Saura... or that big  nose of yours will be bruised." Yooni threatened. I immediately sighed in relief, I'm saved!.All  three of them turned around.

                 "Oh yeah? What are you gonna do about it Yankee? Send one of your gang members?" The second fan member snickered. That's when Kira stepped out from behind Yooni, immediately the members gasped. Kira intimidated  them by saying some awful things I don't even want to repeat!
             "Now beat it!" Yooni finished off. The girls retreated. We watched as they ran through the halls, yelling for people to get out of the way. "You alright?" Yooni asked. She's been very protective since mom died, I don't mind though, it shows that she cares!

              "I'm fine! Don't worry about it. Thank you for scaring them off." I did a little aegyo that made her laugh.

"Saura, why were you walking with Jinyoung? That boy gives off odd electric signals. He's very mysterious " Kira said in full monotone. I tensed up at what she said, despite telling them everything, and agreeing Jinyoung can be weird, I couldn't tell her or Yooni that I live near him, especially the fact that my home IS a tent.

"Really,  It was a coincidence! I was walking and we bumped in to each other. He was kind enough to keep me company."

" Oh Kira, don't attack the poor girl. Anywho, after school you guys wanna go to that new Sushi Tai place? It's got some good reviews and I'm craving meso soup." Oooh, that honestly sounds so good, but I was bummed because I have to work tonight.

"That sounds delicious! I would love to go but I have to work. I'm sorry."

"I understand, but you've been working a lot recently Saura, your old man isn't forcing you right? He isn't treating you bad? If something's wrong I'll show hi-"
