Flashback Part 2A

After the day, when he and Annabeth had broken up, Jason just keeps appearing on his door, and it's very annoying. He came to him, he talk to him, like just their competition had just been down. He couldn't take the sorry of their eyes towards him. He feels like there was no competition but he had already loss. Jason giving him empathy is just a harder way to deal with the problem.

"Grace I am fine, okay, so just back off" He spat at Jason, annoyed. He was walking to the fields. He was going to the canoe lake, where he spends his grieving days, but Jason couldn't just stop following his tail. And it happened most of the times, aside from his often swim.

"I won't back off, I know that you are not alright" Jason said determined following him. He looked back and followed him.

It could have been awesome to think of the act that he is showing to him, if, first, he is not as annoying as he already is, and if Percy could have just remove that like-hate he is feeling on him. And second, if he had wanted him. Sure he knows that there could be a good reason why Jason is doing it, but he just does not want it. It's just, it's just not the way he should deal with it.

"Then, wow you know, you're right. But what's the thing? What's your catch when there's nothing you can about it!" He shouted at Jason, maybe it would hurt him to go away. He only looked sorry at him for the moment. His eyes may have form a tear, had become uncertain for a time. At the moment, Percy saw that there was an on-going back and forth fight in his eyes, and a small sign of defeat, but either, it didn't fare him to give up.

"I can give you company?" Jason offered him, with small hopeful soft voice. It didn't help at all, it just annoyed the hell out of him. Because he could have wanted it, it could have helped him, but again he just didn't think that it's the way he should deal with it.

It only made his head thumper, and annoyed.

"Wow, that is really generous of you, oh holy son of Zeus. But, you're presence won't help" He tried his best sarcasm to rub onto his face.

"Just, you won't do it alone. Piper goes with Annabeth, I'll help you too" Like how would you do it? There's chemistry on them, but to us. It's hopeless. He couldn't even imagine a day where they just sit and eat and talk. god's know what it will ever happen. The first moment when they sit around and, he would pull his sword and point it to Jason's throat.

"How pitiful of you then," He said, annoyed, hurt. He can't just think of Jason being kind to him, how pathetic. But it hurted a lot more than he shows, when those words came out of his mouth.

'It's not just pity okay! You're also my friend, and you can also count on me Percy" Jason said, he was hurt in his eyes, but he also see the truthfulness of what he was saying right now.

"That's generous again, but the best if you don't get on me right now. I am not on my best mood Grace to play with you" How many times will his mind betray his eyes. The sweet words of saying please don't give up on me would come out. Then he just needs to shut it off. He can't feel this way. He's going to be antagonist to him and Annabeth.

"Then fight me then. Maybe that will give you off" Jason offered and challenges him. He doesn't want too. But, if that's what is needed to stop Jason, then he wouldn't. Though today is more pissing than usual, his dreams nightmares are extranightmare-rey. Tartarus little whip just keep on catching him, it's very hard to deal with.

"Fine, but if you lose, you'll never help me ever again" Percy said, negotiating seriously.

"Can't promise that though, but I'll let you go today. You are going to lose anyway." Jason said arrogantly.

"The choice is yours, but I will never let that happen" Percy said. He got his sword and begun thrusting to Jason hard. Percy was good, but when he isn't in his best time to think clearly as today, he was able to disarm. He fought with his bare arms. He wouldn't have been good to it, but when water just pushed Jason off trail. Jason would have summon lightning but didn't do it. Percy pick his sword, and water formed above his back. It turned ice strakes, and shots him one by one. He dudge them all. Jason wasn't fighting to win, it's for Percy to release that feeling of grieve.

It's not that fighting, that thrift him off, but it was the murderous eyes of Percy, it's like there's a darkness, that envelops his eyes. He wasn't aware of it. He stared at it, and suddenly and ice crystal went into his right leg, and Percy was suddenly holding a stake made of ice ready to launch on him, it turned all to the ground.

Jason was out-guard, and he fell to his feet. Just the seconds Percy looked into his eyes, and he remembered the way that Annabeth looked when he controlled the poison of the goddess. He was scared and terrified of him. What had he done? He wasn't doing, he doesn't know if he was in control. The only thing that know, that fighting was a very good feeling. Like it gave him a sense of satisfaction and pleasure. He looked to the ice, and he saw an image of Tartarus laughing at him. He became this anguished about all the things in the world. The look he couldn't bare it. He couldn't just lose another important person in his life. He watch Jason watching worriedly at his actions and terrified face. He watch the ice melts, he doesn't know what to him.

He has control is power, he has to stop Tartarus from haunting him. He just couldn't hurt anyone else.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I –"

"It's okay Percy" Jason said softly, he was trying to hide the sharp pain that the ice crystal had inflicted on him. But mostly, because he saw the way that Percy is looking at him. He was even shaking, with the fear in his face, what he did for sure. He was never able to imagine himself doing. He thought that he had reflected him once again, the way he had scared off Annabeth. But no, he will not be sacred, yes, he could have been terrified with Percy's dark side, the only difference is that he was not scared because he knew it was not him, he would have never been able to do it with his friends, it was Tartarus fault. Everything is his fault. Somehow, Percy is just still recuperating, and somehow he was still on the trance of the darkness of Tartarus.

That's the thing, Percy is Jason's friends, and friends don't give up with each other. He will not, because he also knew that if he was on that situation Percy would have never gave up him as well.

"I didn't mean to do it" Percy said scared

"It's okay Percy" Jason replied trying to suit Percy.

"No, it's not. Let me heal you"

"No, it's okay, I can—"

"Let me heal you first okay?!"

"Okay"

Percy held him carefully, he touch the water on the near brook and directed it to the thigh of Jason, and slowly the water heals him. Jason wasn't a son of Poseidon, but him, and his conscience of suddenly losing him, had pushed his will power to heal him.

Percy was only thankful because he was able to heal Jason, because if he had not, he would have not forgiven himself for it.

"Thanks" Jason said to him gratefully.

"No, stop. Don't follow me now. Continue, whatever you do tomorrow okay?" Jason nod at him. They locked eyes, and he run off. He stayed at the canoe lake for the rest of his day.
