The world at night holds a mystical and silent beauty that most people would miss. But not me, for I am not "most people". "Most people" are those that walk the streets by day and wear bright clothing while basking in the sunlight and purchasing more than they need. "Most people" would grow up in a normal family, with normal friends and a normal life. I was not blessed with these privileges. A stranger. Alone in this world. But I was not alone once. Once I had family, friends and companions. Once I had hope. All I have now is a desire. One all conquering desire. To be free. Free of the chains that bind me. My wings may never be white again but all I can do is try. If I never try, I will never know. And if I never know, I will never forgive myself.
