A/N: If I got Kevin's last name wrong, please let me know xP Also, the prison is a real prison in colorado, I went and searched some up, same with the street name xP

I peeked around the wall from my place in the kitchen. This man had taken a seat on my couch and was now watching the news I think. I could only go by hearing but it sounded like it.

I turned back to what I was cooking. Simple chicken soup, but it had more to it than just heating it up, I don't understand why though. Sighing I stared at the cooking soup. He said he was hungry and rummaged through my fridge and cabinets. Looking around at the mess he made I knew he wasn't going to touch it, more cleaning for me to do and I try so hard to keep this place clean to.

He already took a drink with him, Mountain Dew I think he grabbed.

I was brought back to the pot of soup when I could smell the familiar smell of when it was done. I've cooked it enough times to know thankfully.

Grabbing the pot's handle, I took out a bowl and carefully poured the soup into it. I took a spoon and placed it inside with the soup and went into the living room. He still had his eyes clued onto the news which was now telling about a prisoner who escaped prison this morning.

I got interested since I already knew who it was and listened in, forgetting all about the soup in my hands.

"A man escaped from the Centennial Correctional Facility 8 this morning. Police have been chasing him but lost him in Jewell Street. They will be checking around in search of this Fugative known as Kevin Mcfarlane."

"Hey!" I blinked a few times and looked to the guy I now knew as Kevin. He pulled his hand away from my face, he was probably clicking his fingers or whatever.

"S-Sorry..." I handed him the soup and left back to the kitchen to clean up the mess he made earlier.

When I finished I went back to the living room, Kevin still watching TV that was now switched to Horror movies. The Grudge was on and considering I wasn't much of a horror person I headed up to my room. I closed my door quietly and stood there. I could feel anger building up as my fists clenched and my jaw got increasingly tighter.

Out of pure rage, I grabbed the closest thing to me, which happened to be my phone and I threw it across the room. I flinched as the sound of the glass breaking rung through the room. I stared at my now destroyed phone as it laid on the floor. Great I'm gonna have to buy another one.

Sitting on my bed, I rested my elbows on my knees, burying my head in my hands. Why the fuck did this happen to me? Why not my neighbour or why couldn't he of just ran off into the forest literally just across the road.

I could feel so many emotions right now. Fear, sadness and just complete anger. I don't know why I was mad about this, I rarely ever got mad but this just got my blood boiling.

I heard a knock on my door, making my head jolt up and stare at it. Taking a deep breath I headed to the door, hesitating for a second and opening it.

Kevin stood there looking at me pissed, but also slight worry?

"Wh-Whats w-wrong?"

"I heard a bang you fucking idiot. What was it?"

"O-Oh..." I moved slightly and he looked around my room, stopping as his eyes landed on the smashed phone on the floor.

"Fucking crist. I thought the police had broken in." Guess that's where the worry came from. "Don't break anything or scare me again fuck head." He whacked me on the back of the head before turning on his heel and heading back downstairs.

I rubbed the back of my head which I could now feel throbbing. Fuck this man, hopefully he won't be staying to long.

I went to close the door but stopped when I looked at my phone again. I might as well get a new one now. It'll get me away from Kevin for a while, and hopefully the police will come here while I'm gone and find him.

I just nodded and left my room, closing and locking it behind me. I know it's not a good idea to install a lock on your bedroom door, but right now I'm not regretting it at all.

I grabbed my bag as I reached downstairs and headed for the door. Just as my hand landed on the door handle, Kevin grabbed my shoulder. I looked back at him and I have to say, his expression terrified me.

"Where do you think your going?"

"T-To get a n-new ph-phone."

"How do I know your not going to notify the cops?"

"I...I w-wont..." He glared death at me and grabbed my shoulder tighter.

"I don't like liers."

"Im n-not lying." I glared back at him and that made his grip loosen.

"I'll come with you then."

"Wh-What?" So much for getting away from him.

"I fucking said, I'm going with you. You can hear can't you?"

"W-wait wont p-people notice you?" Good one Steven!

Kevin walked back into the living room and grabbed something from one of the draws in the shelf the TV sat on. When he came back he held it out for me to see and lucky me, he knew where my wolf mask was.

"F-Fine..." Kevin just nodded, putting on the mask and grabbing my hoodie I kept on the coat hanger. After he put it on and pulled up the hood we left. I climbed into my car, him getting in opposite me and we drove to the shopping centre.

The ride was quiet other than a bit of music playing on the radio.

When we parked and got out I headed to where I got my first phone from. I walked up to the phone isle and checked them all out. There weren't many bad looking ones and I had enough money to pay for half of these.

As I picked one out I felt a tap on my shoudler. When I turned around I saw the smiling face of a friend. Seeing him brought a smile to my face, plus his smile is just contagious.

"Hey Eddie, I haven't seen you in ages."

"I know man, sorry I've just been busy. What are you doing here anyway Steven?"

"Oh I kinda broke my phone so I need a new one."

"Wow dude, how did you break it? You take such good care of your things."

"Just lost my temper..." He giggled which made me look down embarrassed.

He wrapped his arm round my neck, still giggling. "The great Steven? Getting mad? That's something I've never heard of."

"Yeah, things are just a little...complicated right now."

Eddie nodded, unwrapping his arm from around my neck, placing both hands back in his jacket pockets. "I won't invade your privacy but I actually came up to ask if you wanted to come to a party with me and the others. We just got our new office and we're going to celebrate at Jordan's place."

"Um...I don't-" Eddie cut me off, which he did a lot really.

"Dude come on! We haven't seen you for what, two years? Come on, we all miss you Steven!" Eddie gave me the puppy dog face. Fucking A, he knows I can't ignore that.

I groaned, sighing in defeat. "Fine, fine I'll go. When is it?"

"Tomorrow! I'll text you about the rest, as long as your not changing no number to."

"Nah, just getting a new phone."

"Perfect! See you then!" With that, he ran off. I sighed, chuckling slightly and turning around to find Kevin right in front of my face. I could see his glare through the eye holes in the mask.

"He's a friend ok? You don't have to come anyway." I turned back to the phones and grabbed the one I had picked out and bought it. After setting it up we got back in the car for another awkwardly silent drive home.

I set up my phone on my desk, leaving it to charge as I took off my shirt and pants. I only ever slept with boxers since it's more comfortable.

Kevin was sleeping in the room next to me, so no late night Minecraft tonight. I have a party to go to tomorrow anyway so it doesn't matter.

I jumped into bed, resting my head on the pillow and staring at the new hole in the wall my phone made. First the kitchen, now my wall, this place is going to be burnt down in a matter of days I know it.

Just shrugging it off for now, I turned my back to it and closed my eyes, falling asleep almost instantly.
