Steven, Aleks, Sly, and Kevin, people from four different families, four different personalities, meet up with each other in their sophomore year. Steven has just moved from his old home town in California to Denver, Colorado, so he'll need help adapting to his new surrounds. Aleks however, is trying to take up music, but when it comes to school, he just wants to rip his hair out. The school is very nice, it's just how they usually pay more attention to the "popular" teens needs and pretty much ignore the "out casts." Eddie, also taking up music, is right now trying to figure out what he wants to be, or who he wants to be, not in like a job term, like, when he becomes an adult. Other people telling him to grow up, get a job, get married, stay mature. Does he really want to do that? Lastly Kevin. He's still not use to it but his parents divorced about two years ago and his mother finally got around to ,"seeing other people."
