Gwen hadn't seen Loki for a week, again. She was starting to get a little annoyed with this God of Mischief. As soon as she believed that he even had the slightest feeling about her, it was gone when he didn't show up the next day. She was beginning to feel like maybe he was using her, but then she'd remember him so nicely holding her hand and walking her to her door.

*Flashback*

Gwen and Loki, walked on the sidewalk in that cold evening hand in hand, Loki noticing her small shivers, his scarf disappeared from his neck and onto hers. Gwen let out a gasp and looked at Loki, with just the sliver of a smile, a small light blush covering her cheeks. Loki didn't look at her, but he held a smirk on his face.

Silently they walked, hearing the sounds of cars, and just simple city noises. New York noises. Loki's hand made Gwen feel safe, protected, warm even. What was this warm feeling?

Once Gwen and Loki made it to Stark Towers, Gwen got her key out of her small purse, and unlocked her door. She paused.

"Loki..." Gwen paused a small smile on her face, "Can I tell you som-" She turned around, and noticed the lack of God behind her. He was gone. So much for sharing her feelings.

*End*

Gwen sighed at that memory playing through her head, kicking her feet in a dramatic manner on her bed, she was laying on. She turned her head to look at the scarf on her night stand, slowly glaring at it. She picked up the green and gold scarf, she hugged it slowly, near her face. She took a deep breath, taking the scent in. She couldn't explain the smell. She had decided to call it Loki smell.

"Fuuuuuuuuck." Gwen groaned setting the scarf next to her. It was time for her to move on. Nothing was happening with her and Loki, just sex, that's all it was. She couldn't think about this right now, it was too much for her. She'd start thinking, and then she'd over analyze it, and then she'd get mad, or sad, sometimes a mixture of the both.

Gwen shook her head. "I've got a date with Todd," She said softly. Her way of moving on was meeting new people. So in Gwen's head the only way she could move past her feelings for Loki was by falling into the arms of another man.

With that Gwen got up, and started getting ready, they were going on a casual date, something small since they were meeting for the first time. How magical Tinder could be. She wore a black skirt that went to her mid-thigh and a white and red blouse that tucked into her flowy skirt, to match she wore grey panty hose, and black high-tops. Her hair she wore in a bun, with little diamond pins in it.

Gwen all while getting ready started to hype herself up, telling herself she was excited, that she was ready, and that she could do it. Deep down she believed she could, but emotionally she felt as if Loki were to come and stop her she'd go with what he wanted in a heartbeat. She felt that in her heart too.

Gwen grabbed her phone as the doorbell rang, knowing that it was Todd, who was right on time. With one last look in the mirror Gwen quickly made her way to the door, taking a deep breath and smiling. "Well look who came a ringing," She said as she opened the door, looking at Todd. He was handsome, just like the picture. Shaggy Brown hair, dark eyes, a boyishly cute smile, only a few inches taller than she was. She took notice of his ACDC shirt and mentally complimented it, and finally he wore jeans and black vans. She could tell he was nervous by the way he looked at her like a deer caught in the headlights.

"You look beautiful," Todd grinned, giving Gwen a hug, which she froze up before patting his back.

"Thanks, ya don't look to bad yourself." Gwen said and walked out the door. She didn't bring her purse, because that would incline she brought money, and she was not about to pay for another date for some guy. Gwen thought she'd feel some kind of 'umph' from him, but she didn't. Gwen watched him, just staring at her as she closed the door. Maybe Todd was just marveled by the fact he was in the presence of a famous person? She didn't know. It was weird though, and she felt as though this would be one awkward dinner date.
