Gwen's head was still a little foggy as she woke up, a migraine already present. She opened her eyes, as she felt light on her face, looking in the direction of it, immediately regretting that decision. She turned her head the other way and almost squeaked at the man that was beside her. Loki. Why was she in bed with Loki?

Gwen took notice of how he looked so pleasant when he was sleeping, his arm was draped over her in a protective manner. Though he was sleeping it was almost as if he was on guard. She licked her lips slowly, wasn't she on a date with Todd? Gwen widened her eyes. Memories flooding back to her. Todd must have drugged her drink when she had her back turned to throw the pizzas away. Gwen had tears pricking in her eyes and looked up at the ceiling, a golden chandelier above Loki and her.

'How could I be so dumb?' Gwen thought to herself. She looked back at Loki and sighed, he saved her. She remembered seeing Todd's bloody body beside her, watching him as he had sputtered on his own blood. Instead of feeling frightened in that moment, she remembered her feeling relieved. Gwen reached a hand up to feel her face for any harsh marks or signs of pain, but didn't feel anything. That was strange? She got punched in the face and dropped on hard pavement.

Gwen looked at Loki, her hand slowly going to touch his face, she smiled at the contact, her hand on his pale smooth cheek. He had perfect skin, clear of any blemishes and marks, but then again he could just make them disappear. She gasped as Loki grabbed her hand, eyes shooting open. Once seeing it was only Gwen touching him he let go of her hand.

"You're awake." He said, slowly sitting up and leaning against the head board. Gwen nodded slowly, doing the same, and looking down at the green shirt. She'd take it home obviously, as it was on her, and she wouldn't mind having more stuff that had that, "Loki smell". Gwen brought her knnes to her chest and laid her head on them.

"I'm an idiot." She said softly. Tears once again pricking her eyes, but she didn't force them away this time.

"Yes." Loki said anger in his voice. "You are. Meeting with a man you hardly know?" Loki scoffed. "Fool. The internet you should no longer be able to use. Strange men online." Loki said, and Gwen looked up at him. How did he know she met him online?

"How did you-" She was cut off by him glaring at her, obviously not wanting her to ask.

"Would you rather I left you?" Loki asked in a harsh tone. Gwen flinched at the thought. Todd would have probably raped and killed her, or leave her naked in the parking lot.

"Of course not!" Gwen snapped. "Loki, I appreciate what you did. I do." Gwen reassured. Loki scoffed at her. Mumbling about foolish mortals.

"Why did you meet with that man?" Loki asked not looking at her anger laced in his voice. Gwen shrugged and rolled her eyes.

"I don't see why you care." She asked, Loki snapped his head to look at her.

"I care Gwendolyn," He snapped. He grabbed her jaw roughly with his hand and brought her face close to his. "Because you are mine and mine alone. Nobody can touch you but me." He said in a raspy voice. "Do you understand me? Or are you going to fight me on everything I say? Being resistant will be your downfall Stark." Loki said in a dark voice. Gwen swallowed hard feeling a lump in her throat. Suddenly Gwen smirked at him.

"So, you have feelings for me? Enough to save me?" Gwen said in a mocking voice yanking her head away from his grip on her jaw. Grabbing her head when a shooting pain came on from her migraine.

"I only saved you because you belong to me." He said coolly before standing up, and looking down at her. Gwen looked at his naked body and marveled at it. She hadn't seen his naked body so far away like this. Usually they were close to each other. "Nothing more." He said. Gwen rolled her eyes.

"The God burdened with glorious purpose saves me? And expects me to believe he has no feelings for me?" She said loudly, not exactly yelling but being upset laced her voice. She was hurt. He seemed so truthful in his words, she had forgotten he was the god of lies. Loki looked at her. "Bullshit! It can't be true that you only use me for sex, and think I'm just some property you can buy off the streets! Like I'm a fucking whore!" now she was yelling, Loki watching her all the while. A shot of pain hit his heart a moment watching her tears fall, though he could tell she tried to fight them off.

Loki shook his head. "And if I did care it doesn't matter, you were so willing to run into the arms of another man." He said a smirk on his face. Gwen let out a frustrated scream.

"You're an idiot!" She said to him jumping up from the bed, ignoring the pain in her head. Loki glared fighting the urge to slap her. No mortal talked to him that way. Gwen stood in front of him. "I didn't just run into the arms of another man! My motive, ass-hat was to try and get over you!" She yelled "I grew feelings for you! Big feelings, I fell hard for you, but with you continuously disappearing off to god knows where, I made myself believe that you were just using me for sex!" She said. Gwen shook her head wiping her eyes. She didn't understand why she had started crying, but she was. She was just so mad at him.

"Gwendolyn." Loki said after letting her finish her rant. Gwen glared at him.

"Gwen." She corrected him, of course she loved the way when he said her full name. She shook her head.

"Gwen." He said and rolled his eyes still keeping his voice calm, he didn't like the short version of her name her full name was so elegant. He sighed and laid a hand on her side gently. Gwen looked down and Loki swiftly grabbed her chin gently and made her look at him. "I do feel something, I just don't know what it is yet." He said softly "But those...'feelings' are directed towards you." He said and pulled her close to him, his head tilted as he looked at her lips.

Gwen sighed. It was better than nothing she supposed. She looked up at him. "I like you a lot, I want you to know that." She said softly, and then she kissed him, softly and passionately and Loki kissed her back the same. He then pulled away slightly.

"I guess I could say the same." He said unsure though, "I like you too." He said. Then he made her disappear and reappear in her room.

Gwen of course let out a groan and a string of curse words. Though her heart still felt all warm and fuzzy. Her fears and worry of the other night disappearing as she was left with a range of emotions.
