Chapter 1

Zane's P.O.V

"Garroth why do I even have to come along to this stupid sleepover? You very well know I'm not a people person." I yell at my big brother who has been pestering me for the past 10 minutes.

"Awww, come on baby brother it'll be good for you. You might even make a friend whilst you're there." Garroth replies.

"But I- Fine I'll go" I reply reluctantly, knowing that if I don't say yes he'll just carry on.

"Yay, now pack your bag baby brother we've got to get going soon if we want to get there in time." Garroth replies giddily and skips out of the room.

I flop onto my bed before starting to grab my essentials and stuffing them into a bag.

Kawaii~Chan's P.O.V

"Aphmau~Senpai, Kawaii~Chan needs help with the cookies!" I shout.

"Coming Kawaii~Chan!" She shouts back and runs over.

(A/N: when Kawaii~Chan isn't speaking it'll be in 1st person)

I'm so excited, tonight's the night of the group sleepover at Cadenza~Chan and Laurence~Kun's house. Only 20 more minutes until we get to leave for it.

"Aphmau~Senpai, Kawaii~Chan thinks that we should going after we've decorated the cookies. Kawaii~Chan doesn't want to be late." I explain while icing a cookie with pink and black cookie icing.

"Ok Kawaii~Chan that will make us just on time." Aphmau confirms after checking the time on her phone.

-Time skip to the sleepover-

Zane's P.O.V

I can't believe I agreed to go to this stupid sleepover with Garroth. Why did I ever say yes? There must be some weird force attracting me there for once.

"Zane go and knock on the door" Garroth says while carrying all of our bags.

He owed me for doing some of his math homework and so I made him carry my bags.

"Ugh, fine I will" I grumble back and walk ahead.

I walk up to the door and, reluctantly, knock three times. A few seconds later a small meif'wa girl with short pink hair opens the door. A bright smile on her face.

Her smile suddenly changes to one of pure shock.

"Zane~Kun?!" She shouts surprisedly.

"Wait, Kawaii~Chan!" I exclaim after getting a better look at her.

I start to blush but thankfully I have my mask to cover it up. Thank Irene for that. This will be the only time I'm thankful for my hideous looking freckles.

Oh my Irene why did she have to be here though. The last time I saw her I ended our friendship because I started to get a weird feeling and eventually found out that I liked her and, even now, I still do even though we haven't talked in over a year even though we were in the same homeroom in freshman year.

"Oh, hi Garroth~Kun!" Kawaii~Chan exclaims. "Come inside everyone else is already here and waiting for you."

Kawaii~Chan's P.O.V

I hear a knock on the door and go to open it and I see someone I never expected to be here.

"Zane~Kun?!" I ask shocked that he's here. I start to blush slightly pink and hope that he doesn't notice.

I've had a crush on him since just before the end of middle school but we just started to drift apart from each other and I still don't understand why this happened.

Maybe him being here is a good sign. I hope we can be friends again. Maybe even something more than that.

"Wait, Kawaii~Chan!"
We both just stand there and stare at each other in shock thankfully I notice Garroth~Kun behind him.

"Oh, hi Garroth~Kun! Come inside everyone else is already here and waiting for you." I explain.

I let them walk past and I close the door and sit back down where I was before.
