Upside Down

Chapter 3

I walk around the shop looking at shirts when Crystal lets out a high pitched scream and rushes over to me. "How do I look?" She asks
She is wearing a skirt with black and white flowers on them and a t shirt with the word Fabulous on it. "It looks nice." I say. Forcing a smile on my face. I've never Been that into fashion growing up. I would just pick out the first shirt I saw and pair it with leggings and some sneakers. But Crystal on the other hand would spend a hour in the shower  30 minutes doing her hair and 2 whole hours picking out a outfit.. Not to mention how long it takes her to do her make-up. "Have you picked anything yet?" She asks smiling uncontrollably. "No, I was thinking we could look around different stores." I say. "Okay! Just let me pay for this." She says skipping over to the counter. I wait next to the door when someone walks in...

A girl with fawn hair walks in and calls over to someone "Hey, you ready Astrid!" She calls out. "Almost!" The other girl calls.

The girl with the fawn hair must have not noticed me because she bumps into my shoulder. "Sorry." She says. "Oh it's okay." I respond. She walks over to the girl and talks with her and then they leave.

Crystal finishes paying and we set off into the huge mall.

"Hey, did you know who that was?" She says. "Who?" I say not knowing who she was talking about. "That girl that bumped into you." She says. "No." I respond "Should I?" "Well, not exactly but she's AMAZING I thought you would know her because she is the best hunter to ever live." Crystal says. "What's her name?" I ask "Nyx Tara NightFire." She says. I feel like I've heard that name before but It slips my mind when we walk into ForestFire BBQ. "I'm starving." Crystal says when we enter the building. "Hello, how many is your party." A girl greets us at the door. "Two." I say. The girl guides us over to a booth and we sit down. "May I start you off with drinks." The girl says. "Water." I say as I look at the menu realizing how starving I am. "Can I have a banana, Strawberry, and kiwi smoothie." Crystal says also looking at the menu. "Of course! Those will be right out." The girl says. I look over the menu eyeing the steak. "What are you getting?" Crystal asks me. "I might get steak." "And you?" I ask. "Salad." She says.

                           3 minutes later..

"Okay here's your drinks, may I start you off with a appetizer." The girl says pulling out her notepad. "Can we have stuffed mushrooms?" Crystal says. "Alright, and are you ready to order your food?" The girl asks scribbling our appetizer on her notepad. "Yes." Me and Crystal say at the same time. "I would like a steak with fries." I say. "Can I have Shrimp with a side of Salad." Crystal says delighted and looking starving as she gulps down her smoothie. "Yup! That will be out shortly." The girl says as she walks away. "So you excited!" Crystal says. "About what?" I ask. "Duh, about our hotel, what faction, our food, basically EVERYTHING." She says. I stare at her. "I mean I guess so.." I respond. My voice quite.

Me and Crystal talk and then our food comes and I quickly cut my steak and eat a big fat chunk of it. Crystal on the other hand carefully uses her fork and takes a small bite of her salad.

Me and her are so different in so many ways...

I catch a glimpse of that Nyx girl Crystal was talking about but then a group of people near us gets up and blocks the view.

I know AGAIN WITH THE SHORT CHAPTERS. But hopefully the next chapter will be at least 1,000 words. (Thats my goal) You guys have an amazing day BYEEEEE ;)
