(Nathan's POV)

Now here I am... in the nurse's office with a bruised cheek and a busted lip.

How?

Well it all started when my friends and I decided to go on a Sunday afternoon to the mall to discuss a certain matter that my father wants me to deal with.

When I got to the mall, I walked to the food court where my friends and I decided to meet up. Since no one was here yet, I walked over to an empty table and waited for them to show up.

Late as always. Not really a surprise, their always late to everything.

About five minutes later, all four of them walked into the food court laughing and trying act all sexy and seductive towards all the girls they passed. Suddenly after about three minutes of walking around doing absolutely nothing they stopped walking and stood in the middle of the food court with confused looks.

Dumbasses.

Finally, they realized that they had no idea where the hell I was or what they were doing.

Being the idiotic one of the group, Mason decided to pull out his phone and text me asking where the hell I was and why I was late.

I'm late? You're the one whose late, stupid.

Standing up from my seat I boomed through the sound of hundreds of people talking and laughing, "Yo, dumbasses I'm over here."

The sound of my voice caused the entire food court to become deadly quiet that a pin being dropping on the floor would probably be heard. At the sound of my booming voice, all four of them jumped around to see me looking at them with a scowl on my face.

"Oh, hey Nathan! Didn't see you there," Mason said with a goofy smile.

I'm surrounded by idiots. God, why am I even friends with them.

God, why am I even friends with them

"No shit Mason. Apparently, you didn't see me or I wouldn't have had to scream across the entire food court just to get your attention," I said sarcastically

"So, man what did you want to talk to us about?" Noah said getting straight to the point.

"So apparently, my dad, when I was younger, had killed a man named Thomas Johnson, who was a police officer, the head chief to be more specific. He said he killed him because he was really close to revealing and destroying his gang, which he passed down to me months ago, but that night, Thomas Johnson had brought his daughter with him. My dad and his second in command never saw the little girl who was about seven years old in the back of the car until she screamed bloody murder when they shot her father in the head. She saw the entire argument between her father and mine and then my father pulled out a gun and shot her father in the head. After they heard the scream they were going to go to the car and kill her next so she would never say anything about what she saw, but they heard sirens in the background and ran away before they could get caught. In the end my father vowed to find the little girl that was in that car that night and kill her even if was the last thing he ever did. But he never saw that little girl again. It was like she disappeared off the face of the earth. A few years back he was going through the file about the little girl, that he stole from the police station. He found out that her name was Veronica Johnson and that at the age of seven she witnessed the murder of her father. She was then put into the Witness Protection Program. About every year, she was moved to a totally different state due to the fear of my father ever finding and killing her. In the file, they never told the exact destination that she was going to be moving to each year. My father wants me to track the girl down and kill her myself. I called you guys here for a meeting because I trust you guys and I need your help. I need you to help me find Veronica Johnson and kill her," I growled out through clenched teeth.
