Veronica Johnson, at the age of 7,  witnessed her father get murdered in cold blood by the leader of the Green Dagger Gang. The leader after murdering her father vowed to kill her next. Due to the circumstances, she is put in the witness protection program.

After ten years of moving from place to place, changing her name to a new name each year, she finally is able to settle down in a small town of North Carolina called Corolla, where she is known as Charlotte Jackson.

But as things seem to be going good for Charlie, her past finds a way of sneaking up on her and biting her in the ass.

Veronica will experience drama, friendship, love, danger and adventure, and heartbreak.
Through all this she will learn lots of things that will help her become and discover the person she really is.
