Chapter 5

Alica POV

We up to the old abandoned apartment building and Andy looks over at me. He looks at me with a concerned look and grabs my hand.

"Babe, before we go in I have to tell you that there is someone in there that could hurt someone" He looks at the building, then back at me. "Please be careful and stay close to me"

"OK" I say and step out of the car.

We walk inside and head up the emergency stairway. We get up to the third floor and begin to hear speaking coming coming up the stairwell. Andy grabs and pulls me down.

"Shh, Im going to check it out" He says.

"Oh no you dont, Youre always protecting me. Its my turn." I say and stand back up. I peak over the edge and see a woman walking up with something in her hand, a tall man following close behind. They are only a floor underneath us and coming up quickly. I head down the stairs quietly and woman walks around the corner. When she sees me she jumps and punches me right in the nose.

"Ahh Fuck" I say, grabbing my nose backing up. I look up at her and see who it is.
