Crowley's P.o.v (11 years Prior to the Catastrophe)
 
   I currently am walking around in a forest with Ferid and a few other vampires, just to explore and watch the livestock is all.

  If I were thirsty I would kill one of them without hesitation, but this was no food hunt, more of a product of boredom.

  It was a rather cloudy rainy day, so not many of them were out compared to the usual.

  "Ugh this rain just wont let up, we should probably head back." Ferid said. I only nodded and muttered a "Sure."

   We had walked for a while, about hallway home I'd say, when I heard a rustling in the bushes.

  At first I had just dismissed it as a wild animal, but then it continued and started to bother me.

   So I walked back over to the bush and looked to see a basket. And within this basket was a small human child. It seemed to be playing with a bush.

  Looked to be about less than or a year old. I would just ignore this thing and continue on but I noticed something weird about this child.

  It didnt make any noise so far, no crying, screaming. Nothing. I found this strange it was raining and cold surely it would have made some noise in alarm.

  But it stayed silent. I picked it up and Ferid walked over. "What is it? Oh, a human child It probably has delicious blo-" I cut him off.

"No." I said as I pushed him away slightly I put it back in its basket ad it tilted its head at me and I walked away.

Even as a human, I never exactly had a way with babies, they always cried when they saw me, never knew why. But this child... Was a weird one.

  Oh good Lord dont-  and I found myself turning a round back to the baby, when I came back it looked up at me.

  I found myself picking it up and started back to the vampire base. "What will you even do with that thing?" Ferid asked in amusement.

  "Not sure," I said. When we finally vane back I decided since I'm gonna have this thing I need a bed so I looked around for wood to make one..  I eventually found it and I started to work.

   After a couple hours of working and taking care of this baby I discovered: One, this thing is so silent even through the noise of the construction I'm almost certain it is deaf or something, Two, The thing is a she.

  It had started to get late so I laid her down and walked around for a bit to get what I needed to get ready for sleep.

  And then I saw Queen Krul, she glanced at me and as I walked by to say, "I don't know what you'll even do with that thing."

  I looked over to her as she continued, "You can't keep it here forever, it will just become livestock."

  "I'll think of something and besides she has a name." I said smirking.

  She spoke in amusement, "And what would that be?"

  "(Y/n)."

  A few days later..

As I was holding little (Y/n) in my arms I thought more about what Krul said.

  There is no way I could keep her here and avoid her be coming livestock. I became list in my thoughts when I felt something on my finger.

  She developed the habit of chewing on my fingers, because she was teething.

  There. Thats my solution.

  I could make her a half vampire for now and when she's ready she'll be a full vampire.

  I bit my finger till it drew blood and let her continue biting on my finger. From there I noticed her bites hurt more and I opened her mouth to see the start of fangs coming in.

   And I looked at her eyes to see that she had eyes that resembled that of a cat.
