It has been a couple of days since the incident. My life carried on normally and nothing interesting had happened. And I was convinced that it would stay boring.

Dad had been out on his duties, he had left me home alone, because he finally figured that I could handle myself.

And he was right of course, I have very little motivation to be rebellious, or do something dangerous. I mean, its not like there was anything to do here anyway.

Well, except play around with Scarlet, but even that got boring after a while.

I just wish there was someone to talk with my age, because up to this point I only have my Dad. I mean I know other vampires, like Queen Krul, Chess, Horn and Ferid.

But Queen Krul had better things to do than talk with me, she was busy. As was Chess and Krul most of the time. And Ferid....

He's just creepy.

So I'm stuck by myself being bored...
As I pondered my thoughts a little I heard the door to my room open.

I looked and saw my Dad in the doorway. I looked up and smiled, "Hello Dad.".

"Hi, (Y/n) i'm almost done with work for today, but im gonna need you real quick sweetie." He said.

I raised an eyebrow, how odd.. I thought. "What for?" I asked. "You'll see, now come on." He replied.

I hesitantly made my way out the door and followed my Dad. I wasn't quite sure where we were going until Ferid's mansion came into view.

Crap.. Was my first thought. Please don't tell me hes gonna have Ferid babysit me or something, Please don't leave me with him nononononono....

"(Y/n)" I was snapped out of my thoughts by my Dad. I looked up and we were down the hall by now.

We stopped in front of a room and then Dad opened the door. When I could see what was in the room, it was just Ferid.

He looked around to greet us and then saw something behind him.. or someone.

It was the boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. The one who found Scarlet for me.

"Ah hello (Y/n)." Ferid smirked at me.
I sent him a glare, Why is a livestock here? Something is not right.. I thought. "What's going on?" I questioned.

"Woah woah, no need to be hostile my dear, I just wanted you too meet Mika." He said.

Mika. That was his name..

"He is a newly turned vampire, so I really would like you to help him out a bit here and there with what he needs to know and other things of that nature." He explained.

I felt extreme shock Another new vampire?! I thought we were avoiding growing the vampire population.. "W-what?" I stuttered in confusion.

"And I thought you needed some companionship with someone your age." My Dad further explained his case.

"Now we need you to get acquainted with eachother, while we finish a few things." Ferid said as he waved and exited the room along with my Dad.

"W-Wait but-" They had already left.

I looked at the boy beside me, he hadn't said a word, his eyes had the cat like pupil of a vampire and his eyes looked like they had lost their innital shine I had seen days ago.

"So um, do you have any questions or-" I started but was cut off. "No" he intureupted in a cold tone.

How harsh... Am I sure this is the same boy? I thought. Well he sure is colder than before. Is he ok?

I soon found myself walking with him down the halls of the mansion. We had walked for what seemed like ages in complete silence.

"I- um is there something w-wrong?" I finally asked. What is with me? I have never stuttered more in my life, let alone stutter almost ever.

"Yes, but you don't need you know what that something is" He said rather coldly, might I add.

This definitely not what I expected from him at all I thought.

"Look I'm sorry, but I guess I cant do anything about your crappy attitude if I don't know what's wrong." I shot back.

Hey I wasnt about to take his attitude today.

After a while he finally spoke again. "Its not you I have a problem with, its just vampires in general." He said.

I glared at him "So you're just gonna judge me because I am one?" I questioned in a harsh tone.

He yelled back in a harsh tone, "Yes, vampires killed my ENTIRE family! So I obviously am not going to like them! And you are one of them!" He yelled as he turned away from me.

Before he turned I could see that he had tears in the corners of his eyes. And he wiped them away quickly.

Ah I see now. I know felt bad lashing out on him like that, I understand he must be confused and scared.

I know I would feel the same way if I were in his situation, I sighed and began to speak once again but in a softer tone,

"Hey, um just so you know I actually didnt get to choose whether I would be a vampire or not." I said.

"What?" He questioned looking in my direction. "Ya I was only a baby barley a year old, I was too little to even remember let alone make a decision." I said.

"I understand you're upset and confused right now, so its ok that you lashed out on me like that,"I said. "But don't forget that YOU are a vampire now, so you cant lash out like that everytime, it will get too exhausting."

"I want to become friends with you soon, so you can come to me if you need anything." I said grabbing his hands and holding them in mine, squeezing them tight.

I was afraid that if I let go I could loose my only possible friend. I didnt want to loose him.

He gave me a sort of sad smile, it was small and I saw it. Then he spoke, "Ya that sounds good" He said quietly.

I grinned at him Maybe I won't be all alone, I really hope we can get along soon enough.

"I'm sorry for lashing out.. Mika." I said looking down. I still do feel bad about giving him unnecessary attitude.

"Its ok you didnt know, I'm sorry for being rude to you based on your breed." He stated looking at me.

"You didnt know, I forgive you." I said.

He began to speak again the door opened and I saw my Dad and Ferid entered to the door.

"Ok Mika, Krul has asked for you so let's go." Ferid said.

The queen? What would Krul want with Mika?? Oh wait could it- no, Krul is the one giving Mika blood. I had this quick conversation in my head.

My Dad took my hand, "Let's go (Y/n).",

"Ok Dad."

I took a moment to look back at Mika. He gave me a short wave and turned away. I really hope that we can be friends.

I guess I was right I still wont forget about him anytime soon, until next time.... Mika.
