I had just gotten back from Florida where I was with my parents for week to find out about my mom. When I got back I was pretty depressed I wouldn't cry but I would just mope around the house usually in my room so I wouldn't bring down the good vibes of the house. I would watch a lot of YouTube and I slowly got happier but one part of me was still empty and I was longing to be loved. I acted happy around my friends but Lucas and Marcus started to get suspicious. I had to act extra happy around them. One day they came into my room and just hugged me. It felt so great, it was like they had read my minds. When we stopped hugging Marcus said "We could tell you needed that it just wouldn't tell anyone you did". "I've been here for a month and you guys can already read me, I guess all the worries I had at the beginning of having no friends was wrong" I said. "You thought you would have no friends here"Lucas replied confused, "Yeah" I said quietly. "Well we're happy we became your friend and I hope your happy your ours" Marcus said looking me in the eyes, "Trust me I'm happy you guys are my friends" I said happily. I'm so happy I became friends with Lucas and Marcus, best friends.
