Chapter 9

I stare at Jacks ocean eyes, then looked at Marks dark chocolate ones. They knew that something was up.

"Oh... it's nothing..." I answer.
"Cryin doesn't start happenin for nothing!" Sean adds, his face looked concerned. Mark still just waited for me to spill out the truth.
"Well-" I paused to collect all my words. "I just miss my family- Mark it's a long story." I said before moving on.
"I looked at a photo picture of all of us in sea world and- well, broke down. I-I'm sorry if I disturbed you.." I felt water rise, making my eyes look glossy.
"Y/N don't you dare say sorry." Jack pulled me in for a hug. I grasped onto his shirt, making wrinkles form from squeezing it.
"It's totally ok to be sad sometimes!"
After when he said that I broke. Making small stains on his shirt. But he didn't seem to mind.
Mark just stood there. He looked like he had guilt spread around him cause he's just standing there, not really helping. But I know from his eyes that he wants to help.. but jack already took over the problem.

Once when I got more calm Jack let loose a bit. He looked at me again "I never experienced this before, but I'm also willing to help anytime." He says. His thick, Irish accent made me smile some as Mark came in the show. Jack walked a bit back for Mark to say whatever he wanted to say.
"I know what it's like to be far away from family in a long period of time," Mark put his hands on my shoulders. Getting a good look into my eyes. "You need to be strong. I believe in you, Y/N." I got teary again and I couldn't help but to jump into Marks arms.

After that scenario, Jack and Mark let me stay in Jacks hotel room. I drift into a deep sleep, dreaming about unicorns and rainbows. Until I smelt something amazingly good. It was... FOOOODDDD! I jump into the kitchen yet started walking quietly once when I heard them talking.
"YOU PUT TOO MUCH SPRINKLES ON THE COOKIES MARK!" Jack whisper yells.
"There is no such thing as too many sprinkles" I can hear him pour the rainbow sprinkles on the cookies which is making some drop all over the floor.
"MMMMMMAAAARRRRKKKKKKK!" Jack whispered yells, but louder this time.
"IM SOWWIE! OK? I DIDNT MEAN THAT"
I giggle at their goofiness and sat there a little longer just to hear them yell over cookies.
I hear marks knees pop as he bends down to pick up the sprinkles that he spilt on the floor. As Mark is cleaning up the mess, Jack finishes up. *sniiifffff* chocolate chip COOKIIEEESSSS!!

I got up and Mark saw me first. He gasps for air and
Points at me to tell Jack that I'm awake. But I put my finger on my lips for him to shush. And he nods his head and makes a evil yet goofy grin. Jack was making the cookies and sprinkling the chocolate chips in them and putting more in the oven to cook. I slowly creep up on him while he was getting a handful of chocolate chips. Mark was clearly watching as he mouthed '3.... 2.... 1.... GO!' One when he mouthed go I gave Jack a loud BOO! It scared him so much that the handful of chocolate chips he had went flying everywhere! I laughed and so did Mark but Jack seemed scared out of his mind and angry.
"HOW DARE YOU!!?" Jack says with his normal, loud voice.
"MARK!!!?! WERE U IN ON THIS???"
Mark laughs while saying his sentence, "Y-YEAAA-*Laughs even more*"
Jack seemed mad at Mark but didn't seem mad enough to yell at me. Which was funny to me cause it was MY idea. But I let that go.

After when we finished cleaning up the small chocolate chips for return of Jacks heart attack, we ate the cookies that survived and we watched a movie. Until I had a face time call with.. Jocilyn? (If you don't have a friend named Jocilyn then pick one of ur friends name) I told Jack and Mark to pause the movie as I answer the call. I didn't leave the room cause I was comfortable around them now.
"Hey Joci!!" I say.
"HEY JOSOLATTE!!" She yells out of the screen. "Hey josolatte, Wouldn't you be home by now? I tried calling you a few times and tried to contact your parents. But neither answered."
Ohhhh right I forgot to tell her! How could I have?
"Oh, haha sorry!! It's a long story but I'm actually in a hotel. I really don't know where my parents even are." I pause for a minuet as I look at the 2 boys. "I'm actually with 2 people that I'm GREAT FULL for having right now. Say hiii!" I show Jack first. And Jack, as always, said something loud and random.
"HELLO Y/N's FRIEND I AM SEAN BUT CALL ME JACK!!!"
My friend eyes widened but tried to stay her cool. She plugged her ears of how loud he was. And she was wearing headphones... big mistake!
"Owwww my ears are bleeding!!" Joci said.
Jack laughed, "It's my secret ability to make peoples ears ache."
"It ain't a secret anymore, now is it Jack?" and I faced my phone to Mark.
"True... DONT TELL ANYONE ELSE!" Jack said.
"No promises."
Jack pouted over Mark. It made all of us laugh, even my friend.
Her laugh got Marks attention.
Mark waved at the camera like a child. "Hewwoooooooww!!" Mark says this in the childish way possible. That made me and my friend giggle, while Jack shoves Mark playfully.
"Now this ones Mark." I said, glancing Mark. He made the duck face. Me and Joci had to chuckle at that one.
"I'm Joci, Y/N friend"
"I can see that." Marks hand runs through his hair while he said that. Then a idea shot to me.
"HEY JOCI!!!" I yell for no reason what so ever.
"Yes Josolatte?" She looked at me through the screen.
"Would u like to come and visit here? You can come into my hotel room," I said. "I have a guest bedroom you could stay in. It would be fun!"
Jocilyn seemed to 'think' about my question. But I know she wanted to come cause I knew from her facial expression she wanted to visit. But I didn't point her out.
"Hmm.... sure!" She said, almost instantly.
"Great! We are at the Boston Vally Hotel" (I just made that hotel up I'm 99.9% that there's no such thing as a Boston Valley Hotel)
Alright! I'll text you tomorrow when I'm driving to your place." She seemed exited. "Can't wait to meet you guys!"
"You too-- erm...." Jack looked at me desperately for her name. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. He already forgot her name? I just said it like a few minuets ago!!

Mark took care of it for me and actually remembered her name.
"It's Jocilyn Jack, I thought you were good at remembering names?" He crossed his arm, making the same facial expression as me.
"I AM!" Him yelling like that almost made me fall of the couch but I don't think they noticed. He went on, "but if I'm not paying attention.." he mumbled.
Me, Mark, and Jocilyn gasps of disbelief. I slapped his arm- but not to hard. Jocilyn put her hand on her chest to show that she was offended, even though she really wasn't. And Mark made the why-did-you-lie-to-me-about-remembering-names face. Jack looked at all of us back and fourth. "Ok I'm sorry!!" He yelped.
"I am offended" Jocilyn said, trying to sound like she still was surprised.
"I guess you aren't the boss your fans know you for.." Mark smirked.
"YOU LITTLEE-"
"OKKKAYYYYYY so I'll see you later then?" I interrupted Jack before he could finish.
"Haha, sure. I'll meet you in a day or two." Then we ended the face call. "*sigh* exactly 12 minuets and 13 seconds. Wish we could have talked a while longer."
"Yea, she seems like a nice lad."
"Jack be a gentleman!! I would call her M'lady then 'Lad'." He made a dumb, goofy voice and face when he said lad.
"Aye, I'm Irish I call everything lad."
"I call everyone by their names" I say,
"And Mark calls everything tiny cute." I added, trying to become as small as I could get. We all laughed and we finished the movie. I almost fell asleep until Jack shook me and thought I was dead. Jack caught that I was drooling a bit and I quickly wiped it off, embarrassed. I felt some heat fork into my cheeks. Mark was in the kitchen makin us some snacks. As I wait I peel out my phone, put in my headphones, and listened to my favorite song. I got on the messages app and started to text Joci.
"Hey, text me when u get this I'm boreeddd" I typed
After a few seconds she texted back.
"Lol same"

I smile and texted her about stuff. And Jack seemed to notice.
"Who ya textin' there?"
I look up at him with a 'hm?' Wanting him to repeat what he said from my blasting music. I turned down the volume.
"WHO YA TEXTIN THERE Y/N?!?" He yelled.
"JEEZ WOMEN- I MEAN MAN! DID U HAVE TO YELL!??" I felt my heart rate go up.
"Ha! She mistaken you as a women." I heard Mark yell out in the background.
"it's probably from those hips of yours Jack. So girl looking." Mark teased. I looked at his hips curiously cause I never payed attention to them, obviously. They seemed a bit curvy, like when a girl just slightly starts puberty. Then I realize I've been looking at his hips for a long period of time.
"Uhh Y/N?" Jack waved his hands at my face. I blink and quickly look up.
"Yea?" I gave him a weak smile, trying to hide my reddish tint of red cheeks.
"You blanked out, thinking of something?" He tilted his head which made his green hair fall on his face. He flips it off. Ahhh! So kawaaiiiiii!
I stood a second there just fan girling over him. I opened my mouth but SOMEBODY spoke up which made me jump.
"She was starring at your hips Jack." Mark said, throwing popcorn into his mouth. I look at Mark and stuttered.
"No! I mean-no-er-what?" My face was the reddest of the color red. I put my face in a pillow and screamed into it.
"Maaarrkkkk I will strangle you one day!" Jack said.
"I'm just telling the truth here! Unless she was starring at.." I could just see Mark smirking. The pillow was still planted into my face so I couldn't see anything. Plus, the pillow smelt like Jack- ok that made me sound like a creep. But his cologne smelt sooo good! If you walked passed him at a grocery store, the smell of his cologne would make your feet follow the scent, no joke.

I took a peek out of the pillow and that's when Mark threw a piece of popcorn at the side of my head. I looked at him and then came another one. I threw the pillow at Mark, making the popcorn fly everywhere.
Me and Jack laughed.
"That's what you get!" Jack laughed.
"MY POPCORN!- wait WHAT DID I DO??"
"For messing with Y/N!" Jack laughed out. He laughed some more. His smile is so warm and welcoming.

Jack is so adorable.
