[08] Bonding time

Lucas gripped the straps of his backpack as he walked beside Malia. They finished all of their classes but instead of going home, they agreed to watch the lacrosse players train today considering that today is the try outs. "Why haven't you tried out for lacrosse?" Malia asked the eldest Stilinski as she looked up at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Ah–" Lucas' face scrunched up at the thought of him wearing a jersey and holding a lacrosse stick. "It's not my thing." He replied with a shrug with a look of distaste on his face. "Not really into sports." He added.

"How come Stiles tries it even though he really suck–" Malia really had no filter when it comes to these things so Lucas held his hand up quickly, cutting her off.

He slung his arm over her shoulder with a grin on his face. "Let's not tell the whole school about my brother's struggle with lacrosse." Before Malia could reply yet again, the Stilinski boy pulled her close to him and began making their way to the field.

That's when Malia knew her favorite place in the world, and that's in Lucas Stilinski's arms.

"There." Malia pointed to Kira, sitting on the bleachers. Before Lucas could see Kira, Malia wrapped her hand around his wrist and dragged him to the Kitsune.

Lucas got shivers running down his spine at the unexpected touch from the werecoyote but he couldn't help but feel at ease whenever Malia touches him.

But he shook those feelings away, remembering the moments he had with Camila.

"I'll always love you." He told her sweetly, smiling widely at his significant other. He closed his eyes as he felt Camila playing with his hair gently, making him feel at ease.

He could hear her giggle, "Forever."

He blinked twice, trying to push those thoughts away as he tried to focus on reality.

As they sat on the bleachers with Kira, they could hear the loud voice of Coach Finstock. "Terrible." He said in disgust as a few players passed him. "Horrifying." He added as the other players trailed behind the first group who already passed him. "Pathetic." He said while looking at the time to see how manh seconds have passed. "Unbelievably pathetic." He commented. "Is that everyone?"

Lucas let out a sigh at the sight of his brother, barely keeping his feet on the ground as he panted with beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "Yep, that's everyone." Coach said.

"Is he all right?" Kira asked out loud to the two, not knowing that Stiles is terrible at playing at this sport.

Lucas blinked rapidly, clearing his throat. "Uh– yeah. He's still trying to get used to the whole work out thing." He said with a wave of his hand as if trying to play it cool.

Malia raised her eyebrow at Lucas while Kira nodded, believing the eldest Stilinski. "Liar." Malia mumbled, covering it with a cough while Lucas rolled his eyes at the werecoyote.

He watched from afar as Scott grabbed his best friend, helping him stand up and possibly regain back his energy.

"Woah, that kid is good." Malia commented, seeing Liam Dunbar, doing push ups while the others are already panting due to their struggle in continuing it.
