I looked up at the clouds just as the sun peaked through them. Rays of light came pouring down on my face causing me to squint my eyes. I slowly started walking still looking up at the transclucent sky when I hit something and fell down on top of it. I jerked my head down to see what it was. A concerned face looked back up at me. I started daydreaming. We were on the beach. "Can you please get off of me? We sat down on the sand. "Hey, can you get off, please?" He leaned over and started to kiss me. "Mam, can you get off, please!" That brought me out of my daydream.
"Oh, right," I mumbled, quickly standing up and off of the angry guy. He stood up. He was around 6' 1 and very muscular. His skin was tan and it shined when the sun's rays hit it. His eyes were dark blue and his hair was messy and blond. I stood there staring at his eyes, transfixed in their charm.
He turned around and left. "Wait! Can I at least introduce myself?" I asked. He stopped. I caught up to him. He turned around and held his hand out. I shook it.
"Sup, I'm Seth." His gaze traveled upward into the sun then to my chest. I blushed. He quickly looked into my face and lowered his head slightly, raising his eyebrows.
"Oh right. I'm Emily." I smiled. I'm a complete idiot. What am I doing? He probably thinks I'm a fool. First I dont get off of him and second I cant even introduce myself. "Are you going to Seafield High?"
"Ya, I just moved in across from you too.""See ya later." He jerked his head up and right back down motioning goodbye. He spun around and walked away. So he's a bad boy? Oh, am I going to have to change a lot this summer to be his girlfriend.
I pulled my phone out of my jacket pocket. I dialed in my best friend, Maddie's, number. The phone rang and she picked up immediately. "Maddie, meet me at my house in ten. I have a lot to discuss."
"Ok, see you there Em!" She hung up and my heart raced. This summer I was going to become popular and take Seth for myself. I just needed some clothes and SWAG. I chuckled and headed toward my house.
Fifteen minutes later Maddie arrived and we went up into my room. I informed her about how I met Seth, that he lives across from me now, his appearance, and how he was BAD BOY.
"Well we could go to the mall and get some new clothes," she suggested. "You can't where frilly skirts and lacy shirts anymore. You need black jeans, tall boots, and some tanktops. Maybe some new makeup too." I had to smile at her advice and suggestions.
"That's why I have you as a friend," I said. She grinned and grabbed her purse.
"C'mon we're going to the mall!" Maddie demanded pulling me up out of my swivel chair.
"Alright, Alright," I muttered grabbing my wallet. Maddie pulled me down the stairs out the door and pushed me into her car. She started up the engine and we were off to change my personality.
