when connor heard the knock on his door his heart stopped for a second and then it started beating very fast. he finally was able to move his feet to walk over to the door.

he stopped at the door, took a deep breath in and out, and opened it to see oliver on the other side looking as happy as he could possibly be.

"hi connor. it smells good in there." oliver said with a big smile as he just walked into the apartment making his way to the kitchen.

"ummm thanks." connor replied in complete shock that he just walked into his apartment without being invited in, but he kind of liked his confidence.

"so what are we eating?" oliver asked rather quickly to setting his stuff down onto the counter that separates the kitchen from the living room.

"uhh well let's eat now." connor replied still in shock.

"sounds great."

the two men made their way to connors table so they could sit down and eat.

"oh wow, spaghetti and meatballs, my favorite! how did you know?" oliver said so happy to be having one of his favorite meals.

"oh well i didn't actually. i just cooked something up but that's kind of the purpose tonight is supposed to have." connor replied getting butterflies in his stomach all over again.

"what is?" oliver replied right before he shoved a big mouthful of spaghetti into his mouth.

"to get to know each other better. i just feel like the last time we saw each other wasn't enough for me, like i actually want to get to know you." connor said grabbing olivers hand from across the table.

"well, i think that i would like that too." oliver said smiling back at connor looking directly into his eyes, giving him a look that was sincere, "i just want to eat first because im hungry and that first bite tasted really good." oliver said chuckling kind of awkwardly.

"yeah, yeah of corse." connor replied chuckling as well.

they let each other's hand go and continued on eating. both men felt extremely happy right now, but connor knew that he had to take it slow with oliver. he did not want to mess this up.

they finished their dinner and decided to go and sit on the couch and drink the delicious wine that connor had gotten for their 'date'.

"well first of all, i just wanted to say thank you for dinner tonight." oliver said getting awkward because he wasn't sure what to say.

"you're very welcome." connor replied smirking a bit because he could feel the tension between the two of them. " okay so i do want to get to know more about you, so, is there anything that i should know?"

"umm i mean not really. nothing really important. i mean like my family is great. my parents are still together after 30 years and i have two sisters and a brother." oliver said still unsure of what exactly to say.

"oh wow that's amazing. yeah my parents are divorced and i have a brother and a sister."

"that's cool. when did your parents get divorced?"

"oh umm, when i was 8. yeah it was a hard part of my life but i guess it's fine now." connor said getting a little sad of the thought of not having parents that were married since forever. what if he never had that?

"oh wow. im so sorry. but its starting to get a little depressing so why don't we talk about something else?" oliver said with a frown on his face while trying to look into connors eyes which were looking at something on the floor.

"okay yeah." connor said regaining his focus back to oliver whom was now smiling at the victory it was to look into connors eyes.

the two of them talked for about another hour and they had a great time. when their conversation started to die down and get more awakard, they both caught themselves looking intensely into the other ones eyes. there was no doubt that there was a lot of chemistry between them.

"i should probably get heading on home." oliver said still sitting in his same position in the couch.

"okay, yeah. i just want to let you know that i did have a good time talking to you tonight and getting to learn more about you. i really hope that we can keep doing this." connor replied smiling while standing up off the couch getting ready to lead connor to the door.

"yeah me too. thank you so much for dinner too. it was really good and i really hope that this isn't the last time we have dinner like this. maybe next time i can cook for you at my house." oliver said while smiling even bigger through the end because they both truly wanted this so bad.

"sounds like a plan." connor replied smirking. he was starting to get shy so he was looking down at his feet and when he finished speaking he looked up at oliver, which just drove oliver insane. he couldn't help it any more.

oliver looked deeply into connors eyes and leaned in slowly then all at once. it was a deep and passionate kiss, it meant something.

at first it surprised connor but he immediately kissed back. he had been wanting to do this so bad as well but i guess that oliver was the first to crack.

their kiss broke and they just stared into each other's eyes for a moment before oliver broke the silence.

"I'll see you soon, connor."

"yeah umm, i can't wait." connor replied while opening the door so oliver could go home.

"bye."

"bye."

after oliver had left connor had just stayed at his door. he just kind of turned his back to the door and looked out at his apartment. connor hated to say it so soon but oliver is really making connor fall for him.tonight had gone better that he could ever had imagined.
