I went through the day thinking about Luca. Mostly I'm intrigued to what he can do, a part of me hopes I can learn to do telekinesis as well. I've never experimented much after the incident. I try to not even read people's minds, although sometimes that can be hard.

The bell interrupts my drifting daydreams. I spring up from my chair and dart out the door. My leg instinctively swings over my bike seat and I take off. I peek in the corner of my eye and spot Luca following me through my mirror. An idiotic grin smears across my face. He speeds up and ends up beside me. I turn to look at him again and make out his mouthed words race?

Before I understood, he practically teleported about a meter ahead of me. I pummel down on the pedals, leaving my stomach behind. I catch up to Luca but struggle to move any faster. Farther up the trail I make out the beginning of the slope. Perfect.

I align my bike with the steepest part of the slope, hoping to gain some extra momentum. But, I notice Luca has a similar plan. He edges closer to me, forcing me to scoot myself to the side. When Luca stops moving closer, I realize what he'd done. Luca was aligned with the steep part of the slope and I had the even part. Too late for me to do anything, he had been propelled almost out of my sight.

By the time I caught up with Luca, he'd already make it to our spot and was waiting for me. He smirked and called out
" Took you long enough, slow poke!" I simply rolled my eyes. I jogged up to his spot near the river and propped my bike next to his against a sturdy tree.

Luca looked at me expectingly, I am the one who told him to meet me. I have a tsunami of questions and experiments, I'm not sure where to start. I decide to start with a simple question,
"So, how does your telekinesis work?" He narrowed his eyebrows and look up at the sky, gathering his thoughts. Okay, maybe it wasn't such an easy question..

Luca senses my unease and looks back at me with a bright smile,
"It's sort of hard to explain, but I'll do my best." He pauses for a moment, "I concentrate on the object, and kind of just send my thoughts to it? Gosh that's weird.." Despite his uncertainty I nod, engrossed. What he said sounds familiar,
" Like when I sent you my thoughts!" I added. Realization creeped on Luca's face as he responds,
"Exactly! I can do that too.." I practically jumped in excitement, just thinking of what we could do together. But, I stopped myself and demanded he prove it.

A moment after him awkwardly staring intensely at me, I hear a voice. Lucas voice drifts into my consciousness, as a grin crawls up my face. Is this proof enough? I roll my eyes and send him a  simple yes.
