Back from war

Third Person's POV

  It was March 8th and Annabeth Chase was sitting her living room crying it had been two years since her boyfriend Percy had left to serve in war and she hadn't seen him since. Yeah they Iris messaged and everything but it wasn't the same as him being there with her. She got a text from Sally saying that they could go to lunch at Percy's favorite pizza joint it had become tradition ever since Percy left of course they had only done it a couple of times before once on the day it marked that he was in war for a year and on his birthday she replied that she would be there in a hour and went to go get into the shower.  When she got into the shower she had no idea that Percy walked into their apartment and went into their room to surprise her. She got out of the shower and got dressed then went to her room to put on a little bit if make up she rarely ever wore make up but she made an exception for today.

When she got into her room she saw Percy screamed and ran up to him and hugged him. She sobbed into his chest then her lifted up her head and kissed her. When they pulled apart they talked. (Bold is Percy normal is Annabeth)

(Sobs) Why didn't you say you were coming back does anyone else know

No nobody else knows I wanted you to be the first to find out I wanted to surprise you

Well I have lunch with Sally in thirty minutes     She will want to see you you can surprise her but we have to leave right now

Ok let's go

They walked out and to the car

And Annabeth I love you I am not leaving again

They kissed again

(End of conversation)

They walked into a store and bought a huge box there plan was to put Percy in the box and when they got to the restaurant Annabeth would call Sally telling her to come into the parking lot saying that she had a gift for her and it was to big to take into the restaurant  she would open the top if the box and Percy would jump up and hug her.

-------------Time skip to Lunch-------------

Percy was in the box and Annabeth was about to call Sally when she saw her get out of her car it looked like she had been crying so Annabeth was really excited. She called Sally over and told her to open the box they had to argue over it for a while because Sally said she want in the mood to a receive a gift .
( Bold is Percy, normal is Annabeth, and Italics is Sally)

Sally come over here and open this it will definitely make you have a better day

Annabeth I don't know if it is possible for anything to cheer me up today

Come on Sally just open it up I am not going into the restaurant until you open up this box

Fine Annabeth if you insist but I can't guarantee it will cheer me up I'm sorry I just really miss Percy

Just open the box Sally (sound slightly annoyed)

(Sally Opens box)

Hey Mom

(Sally is in tears at this point)

(Sobs) Why didn't you tell me that you were coming home Perseus Jackson

I wanted to surprise you and Annabeth nobody knew I was coming home today well except Thals because she gave me the key to Annabeth and mine's apartment but I didn't tell Annabeth that because I knew she would judo flip me

What did you just say (laughs)

Come on let's go get some Pizza you guys can talk about that later tonight.
