It is about extending your personality for far

You forget who you are while the hundreds of unseen eyes

Stare up at you as your tongue speaks a language you practiced

For months to understand.

It is about forgetting the fight you had with your mother

About the dish in your room and the clothes on the floor

As you wipe the string of tears that fall in cue

As if you were not expecting it.

It is about the nervousness that makes you sick

To your stomach until you give up and fall asleep on the bathroom floor

But is a constant reminder of how much you need to stand on

That wooden floor just to feel whole again.
