After about three days my aunt took me to the child care services. She sent me there because they were moving, to New York. The first home I went to was a home for girls, troubled girls. Apparently living with my mom made me "mentally unstable". I was there for two days before they declared be stable. Next I went to a home for girls that have no home, (soooo creative, right?) I was there for three days before they declared me too weird.
The last home I went to was the Brown's. Carrie and Mike. They already had two little kids, twins named Oliver and Olivia. They had black hair and blue eyes. They were the same age as me.
The kids went to a Prep school in up state for the summer, they left in two months. Mrs. Brown was nice and kind, she looked nothing like the twins though. She had blonde hair and green eyes that were huge. Mr. Brown had shaggy brown hair and brown eyes.
To be honest Mr. Brown looked gay, even though he wasn't. Mrs. Brown told me the twins were biological, (to who I don't know). I liked the Brown's. They thought of me more as a friend instead of a temporary child. I liked it. The new school I went to was called Mikerson High. It was the Prep School. It was in London, so technically I shouldn't be allowed to go, but the system told me I could.

On the flight to London Olivia told me all about the school. About the popular kids, about the cheerleader's and tryout,(She tried out every year and never made it). She also told me about her friends, Sylvia and Rose, and how they were twins and spoke and looked identical to one another. The only way to tell the difference was by their eyes and hair color and Rose has glasses. She showed me some pictures, personally I think she needs glasses.
They were part of the rock group called Pixie Dust. Olivia was the lead singer.
Then when I zoned out Olivia, Oliver started talking to me about his girlfriend, who was cheer captain and had been for three years in a row, and his friends. He scrolled through Instagram showing me picture after picture of him and his buddies. One of his buds reminded me of my brother. They both had the blue eyes, except his friend had pink hair.
I wanted to cry. I turned away and put my headphones on. I listened to sad and depressing music the rest of the trip.

When we finally landed, we were greeted at the door by Olivia and Oliver's friends. I awkwardly stood behind the group. One of Oliver's friends looked me over and whispered to him about me. He whispered back to him. "I'm Trent, Trent Burns." He had a southern accent that drew me in.
"Casey." I whispered. He had brown hair and blue eyes that made his lashes look longer than they really were. He smiled at me, and I melted. He had that smile that was just everything.
"Miss Casey, you are the prettiest person I have ever seen, and that's saying alot 'cause my sister is a model." I blushed. He just compared me to a MODEL! I smiled at him and started to follow the group as they walked out. Olivia piles in with her friends and drives off. "You can ride in the front with me." Trent says scaring the heebie-jeebies out of me. Oliver and the rest of the group pile in the back while I slide into the front seat with Trent. He starts the engine and starts to pull out. "Casey, when is your birthday?" I blushed.
"Tomorrow actually."
"Cool."

About ten minutes later we pulled onto the school campus. The school looked to be about ten stories high and had the castle feel to it. We walked into the administration office and was greeted by a lady in a pink suit. "Welcome back!" she yelled to everybody. "And you WELCOME! I am Miss Dabber, NO I DO NOT DAB. You are in room 145 in Blue Man Hall."
"Cool," Trent said. "So am I." I smiled inside, cool.

Three hours later I was seated in the bedroom that was mine and I was thinking about Trent. He was cute and fun and all together amazing. I really hoped he liked me too.
