Chapter 14

"Do we have to look at it?" Thomas asked irritably.

"Yes!" Michelle and Angel answered at the same time.

Thomas rolled his eyes.

"Actually," Angel said with a grin, "you can look at what you want ... at home."

Thomas grinned. "And lose a pleasant company?"

Angel turned to him, then laughed.

Michelle ignored their conversation, she was lost in her thoughts. She had an unpleasant feeling which  she couldnt get rid of ...  It was just a feeling that something would happen. Good or bad.

The show was more or less just about Joe. They talked about their upcoming tour. They will sing their current hit and secret song they have not yet released. Jonas Brothers won three more awards. It was the first time Joe had spoken more than a few words in public. It was a huge difference since he came back from the hospital.

"Where's Joe?" He asked Louis.

"He vomits."

Louis grinned. "Are you sure it was a good idea?"

Nick smiled. "No."

Seeing Nick's smile, he felt sorry for Joe.

Getting ready to perform on the podium in front of the audience and be the focus of attention was Joe's nature. It was something he'd done since he was a   little boy. He loved going out before people. When the popularity of Jonas Brothers grew, he was excited. That was what he wanted with his little brothers. So he didnt understand why he was nervous now, and he felt as if he were again 5. He didnt understand why he was nervous.  

Finally, he added courage, stood up and went out of the toilet.

They introduce  a band and the crowd cheered loudly. All the cameras were focused on the podium. Joe stood alone in the middle of the stage and all the lights glowed at him. Then, on the giant screen behind him began to project images, his personal pictures,how he  and Michelle came together, photos taken by Michelle when he didnt notice that she was taking pictures ... more photos were photos of their home, their lives, parts of letters, and other things that described their mutual love . Joe put the microphone closer to himself and waited for his moments to come.

The band began to play and the lights focused on Kevin, Joe and Nick.

For breaking all the promises that I was not around to keep.

He sang and behind him started projec the pictures, this time of his most difficult period.
