I walked through the airport, looking around at everything around me.

This is gonna be a hassle, I though to myself before realization hit me like a puberty truck.

I never, ever, went on a plane!

"Dad!" I tugged on my Dad's sleeve like a little girl, "I never went on a plane before! What do I do?!" I panicked, "Don't worry Lanna," He said sootingly, looking down at me, "It's gonna be fine, it's simple," He shrugged as if flying was nothing.

It most certaintly is not nothing!

"Dad! It is not nothing!" I hissed, "I'm going to be flying, in the air," I told him, folding my arms. "Well you technically aren't gonna be flying, the plane is," He told me, smiling like an idiot. I rolled my eyes at him and fought the smile that tried to make it's way on my face.

I am mad at him! Why is he joking? This is not funny!

"I'm going to be in the air father," I rolled my eyes again, "I'm basically flying." "Well if you think about it..." He started off.

Oh lord, he's gonna say something stupid.

"Flying is just like driving, just in the sky," He nodded, smiling. I face palmed, "Dad, those are two completely different things," I groaned, "That's like saying swimming is like walking, just in water," I told him, shaking my head. "Well it kind of is," He nodded, looking like he was thinking about it.

How did he ever get a job?

"No it isn't!" I hissed at him, "They are completely different!" "You call it tomato, I call it a rock," He shrugged, "What?" I furrowed my eyebrows at him, "I don't know Lanna, I'm stressed and tired," He sighed, "Me too, but if you let me stay-" He cut me off before I could finnish my nagging, "We arenot having this conversation again Lanna, understand?" He said, going into dad mode a gain.

Freaking dad mode.

"Yeah, I understand," I grumbled, looking straight forward again. He sighed, "I just want the best for you, Ok Lanna?" He asked, glancing at me, "Ok," I nodded, continuing to walk forward.

~~~
I shifted uncomfortably again, I was halfway through my flight now and was very uncomfortable, My father was kind enough to get me first class tickets but sitting in a seat for more then an hour is still pretty unsettling.
Still, I had it better then most. I was watching Lion King 1 1/2 and it was hilarious, no matter what I always will love that movie. And I was eating some of my favorite cookie dough Ice cream with some salt and vinegar chips.
"Hi, I'm back,"  The girl who was sitting next to me smiled, she just went to the bathroom and came back. She sat back into her seat and glanced at my screen, "Lion King 1 1/2? I love that movie!" She beemed at me, I smiled at her, "Really? I thought I was the only one with this strange obsession," I laughed. "You are definately not alone," She smiled.
"I'm Lanna," I stuck my hand out for her to shake, "Georgia," She smiled, shaking my hand, "But everyone calls me Gia," She smiled, "Nice to meet you Gia," I smiled back, "You wanna watch the movie with me?" I asked her, "Sure," She nodded. "Cool," I smiled and gave her one of my earbuds, she took it and put it in her left ear and I restarted the movie.
"Like salt and vinegar chips?" I asked her, moving the bag towards her, "Of course," She smiled, I smiled back and handed her the bag.
Maybe this flight won't be so bad...
