Third person POV
Elliot had to unbutton Livs shirt to see the cut and check how deep it was. It reveled Livs sleek black bra with red lace. Stabler put as much pressure on the cut as he could. When the ambulance got there he carried her bridal style down the stairs and gave her to the paramedics to get checked out. While the other cops untried Mandi and got her outside. She was crying unbelievably, but no one could really blame her. She had seen a lot. Elliot stood outside of the ambulance watching them work on Liv making sure she would be okay. They gave her 4 stitches, but she was awake during it and El could see in her eyes how much it hurt. It made him start thinking,
"It was my fault. I should've gotten there faster, I should've taken him down faster."
His thought was interrupted by one of the paramedics saying,
"She should be fine we gave her pain medication. But you might wanna stay with her for a while to make sure she's okay."
"Ok I understand." Elliot said.
Captain Cragian came behind El while he was putting Liv in the car.
"Kathy called me Elliot she demanded to know where you were, I had to tell her. You can't just keep her at arms length El, she is your wife after all." He told him.
"I know and I'll call her but I gotta get Liv home right now." Elliot replied.
Captain nodded and walked over to Fin and Munch to get Mandi over to the percent so they could get her statement.
Elliot got in his car and looked over at Liv sleeping like a baby. He couldn't help up think how cute she actually was when she slept. But the rest of the way there he focused on the road to make sure he kept Liv safe. When they got to Bensons apartment building, Elliot woke her up and told her that he needed to get her up to the third floor. So he carried her. When they got to her door she remembered she left her keys on her desk back at work. Elliot pulled out his key chain because he had a spare, that Liv gave him about a year ago. He Unlocked the door, and laid Liv on her olive green couch. He turned on his phone for the first time that day. He had 31 missed texts and 18 missed calls from Kathy. He was slightly annoyed because she knows that he has to keep his phone off at work. But he called her back anyway. The phone rang only twice before she picked up. Before El could even speak, Kathy started shouting,
"ELLIOT STABLER HOW DARE YOU IGNORE MY CALLS FOR OLIVIA!"
"Kathy calm down. Liv got hurt so yeah I freaked and forgot to text you. It's not that big of a deal, I'm so-" Elliot couldn't even finish before Kathy started lecturing him on how he needs to keep in contact with her.
"Kathy I'm god damn grown man. And you know the sacrifices I have with this job!" Elliot yelled.
"BUT THOSE SACRIFICES DON'T INCLUDE THAT SLUT OF PARTNER YOU HAVE, NOW DO THEY?!"
Elliot got so angry with Kathy for calling Liv a slut. He didn't shout he didn't scream he didn't say anything at all. He just hung up with her.
"How dare she have the nerve to call Olivia a slut." He thought while leaning on the counter watching Liv sleep.
Elliot took off his jacket and hung it over the bar stool. He wanted to make Liv some dinner but he didn't know how or what to make. When he opened the cabinets, they were empty almost all of them except a few. All he could find was some chips and a little bit of dip. So he decided to run out to get some tacos.
When he got back Liv was sitting up and watching TV. She was covered up by her pale pink, wool blanket. He sat the food on the coffee table in front of her.
"What's this?" Olivia asked with a smile
"Well it's shit obviously." Elliot said while unwrapping his taco and giving Liv hers.
Liv laughed a little. El decided to stay at her place that night because it got to late for him to drive and he really didn't want to deal with Kathy. So they just watched some comedy movies the rest of the night.
