Olivia's POV
Wow Olivia you just stormed out of there, crying like a little baby. Why does Kathy see me as a threat? Yeah me and El are partners, but he did marry HER. So what's the big deal huh. I said while looking in my car mirror. All I could do was set my face in my hands, and cry. I could've been out there for 10 minutes maybe an hour. I honestly lost all track of time. Finally I decided to call Cragian,

"Hey Capt I felt a little sick so I decided to head home."

"Olivia don't lie to me. I saw you run outta here. Is everything ok?"

"Has Elliot not talked to you yet?"

"No, why?"

"Oh umm no reason. But yeah I'll be fine. I just have to get home."

"Ok but remember that if you need anything I'll be here."

"Thanks Capt." I said while hanging up.

Elliot's POV
I walked into the same room by myself this time. I grabbed the table and threw it across the room. Why. Why the fuck would I ever hurt Liv. She's always been there for me especially, when Kathy wasn't. I started punching the hell out of the wall to the point that my knuckles were gushing blood. Then I just didn't know what to do anymore. So l just broke down in tears. I sat there balling. I can't just keep choosing between the two most important things in my life, Liv and my family.

Munch started banging on the door, wanting me out of there. So I stood up wiped my eyes, and my knuckles off. And opened the door. Munch stared at me with a weird look on his face before asking,

"Hey You okay?"

Of course I wasn't I just lost my best friend, my eyes look a mess and knuckles are tore up and bloody.

"Yeah I'm fine." I said lying

"Okay good because we need to get this done." Munch said pointing over at the boxes of evidence on my desk.

"Yeah ok I'll be over there in a second I'm gonna run to the bathroom." I told him.

Third Person POV
Olivia had went home and layed on her couch just thinking about Elliot and why he would ever do this to her.

Elliot stood in the bathroom for about ten minutes cleaning himself up. After he was done he had to go to Cragians office to talk to him about it. When he opened the Capts door he instantly felt fear, empty, and a cold feeling. It was so surreal to him.

Cragian looked up from the paper he was filling out to ask Elliot,

"Hey what's up?"

"Oh I'm I have to ask you something" El said scratching his neck

"It's something with Olivia isn't it."

Elliot could feel himself tearing up. He stood there trying to talk but no words would come out of his mouth.

"Are you okay?" Captain asked

"Y-yeah. I wanted to a-ask if I c-could get a new p-partner" El whispered

Captain stood up with astonishment, "Are you kidding Elliot??"

"No. Kathy said that this was what was best for our marriage." He stuttered

"Are you sure you want to do that?" Captain asked still feeling surprised

"Yes. I'm sure.... I think"

"Okay Elliot. I understand the sacrifices your making here. But in my opinion they're not the right ones." Cragian said while setting his hand on Elliot's shoulder.

El couldn't stand there looking at him anymore so he stormed out. He jumped into his car and just started driving, he just had to get home to Kathy.

When he pulled in the driveway, the clock said 12:58 so the kids would still be at school. He walked in and slammed the door behind him. Kathy ran down the stairs to see what the loud sound was. When she saw Elliot she started yelling,

"ELLIOT WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE  AND WHY ARE YOU MAKING SO MUCH NOISE!" Kathy could see how much of a mess he was but she couldn't give two shits.

"Well I did what you wanted I got rid of me and Liv's partne- friendship I mean. I hope your happy."

Kathy still wasn't satisfied. She honestly didn't care about Elliot but he didn't know that. The only reason she had Maureen was so Elliot would stay with her. Kathy needed him, but not for love, for money. El had invested a lot of it when his dad passed.

"Great." Kathy said with a fake smile

Elliot stared at her, her eyes were ice cold. It was almost like she had a plan and he was falling right into it. But he couldn't do anything Kathy and his kids were all he really had left.

Kathy walked over to Elliot and grabbed him by his tie and pulled him into a passionate kiss. After the kiss El pulled away and tried walking over to the couch. Kathy grabbed his arm and whispered,

"Elliot it's only me and you now. We can do whatever we want."

"No Kathy not right now I-I just can't." He stuttered

Elliot layed down on his couch while Kathy walked over to the kitchen, to get a sandwich. He started watching the 24 hour news, before his eyes started getting droopy and beginning to close. He fell asleep, and all he dreamed about was Olivia and all that they've been through.
