I am truly,slowly falling for him

Chapter one

          3rd September. The strong breeze brushing through my hair and face as I stood waiting for my aunt to drive me to Tunbridge School. On this gloomy day, all I could think about how my life would be living away from my parents and how the school would be. I never wanted to leave America as most of my family relatives live here . My mother says going to the U.K. For sixth form would help me which I don't get why . Two years of my life in a British boarding school , this should be interesting. The grass looks extra green today like the summer sun still burning on the ground , ugh , I can't believe I am going to be so far away from home i am leaving so much behind like my family and my best and only friend Lucas , Lucas and I have been friends since we were in kindergarten which is a long time considering I am 17 years old now . Lucas and I did everything together he stood by me when the bullies attacked and he was always there when I needed him . Tears began to fill my eyes as I think of the times I had with Lucas.  I walk into the car as my aunt and uncle load my suitcases in the trunk . My uncle waves goodbye as I stare through the window. I am dreading the long journey to school as I imagine what my new school would be like. As we drove , my aunt just chatted about how life will be great for me in my new  school , I just nodded and kept on staring at the window . My aunt made a stop at McDonald's and asked me  to come down so I can use the toilet and buy some food. I walk out and feel a cold breeze with tiny rain drops splashing my face , yup I Said to myself I am definitely in Britain. My aunt got me a pack of nuggets 20 pieces !!!! Apparently I am too skinny . My aunt continued to drive us as I slowly eat the food she bought me, I grab my phone and explore my Snapchat and Instagram.
I open my eyes , I check the time it's 12:30pm wow I most have fallen asleep , I peaked out the window and see that we are in the country side , my aunt says we are here as she looks at me and smiles . My aunt drives into the drive way and parks her car  we step out of the vehicle and the sunshine wakes me up even more as it shines on my face . There were lots of parents and kids in the school , I helped my aunt get the suitcases out of the trunk and we drag it to the reception , the reception was filled with foreigners speaking about five different languages.
We take a seat and a short lady with heals comes to meet us and ask for our names my aunt then says I am Tasha the legal guardian of Ashley Duncan, the lady then says oh nice to meet you as she shakes my aunts hand and mine . The lady gives us a room key and takes us to the stairs that led to my room.
We make it safely to my room while dragging the heavy suitcases , we walked into the room and we see it divided into two sides with each side having its own bed desks lamp window closet and bedside table. It wasn't an ensuite so we didn't have our on bathroom , which meant I had to share with several other girls just great. My aunt helped me unpack my stuff and tells me how jealous she is of me , I smile at her and continued unpacking.
When we finished a lady knocked and came into my room , she said her name was miss James and she said  she was my house mistress if I needed anything I should come and ask her. She also said my room mate will be arriving soon so I will have a friend.
It was time for my aunt to leave as she hugged me and squeezed money into my hand she said this is extra cash for me to treat myself to anything I wanted. She looked at me and told me to behave myself and always study hard . I promised her that I would do that as I watched her get into the car and disappear into the perspective.
