Shouting. I hear the thud of bodies falling aside me as piercing screams echoe from above. The pit which we've fallen into darkens us over, unable to see the last things before we hit the cold wet ground of bodies over bodies, bruised and dead- flesh and bone. Shadows surround me and the screaming only gets stuffed. Cries from all directions pour out in agony and the pain is vibrated all through out my body. Though I can't feel it, I know it's there. Temperatures drop, as their faces turn purple- although there are so many of them, as though looking through a kaleidoscope. The fear pumps through the hearts of the ones who won't be able to hold on my longer.
Jumping.
Falling.
They all seemed confident for the edge, but my fear was to break the glass, not to fall down. But here I am. Barely alive. Screaming in agony in pain for myself. I'm covered in oozing blood from chest- had my ribs have broken. My knees are torn, my face is scratched over. I'm leaning against another pile of bones, with nothing but a single bandana tied around the jawline. There's no time to cry, and no strength to run.
Any minute now, I'd be free. Free from suffocation that never lasted to death. Freed anxiety from fear. No more pain. Which I had chose myself.
I sat down and told myself-Would you rather live in pain, or die?
