CHAPTER 2
During an early evening three young females walked along the side of the road. They all had a distinct soft pastel yellow uniform on and their arms were filled with books.
“Hey Yoko you coming’ to my birthday party?”
“Yeah sure, if I can make it…” Replied a girl named Yoko.
“Great. I hope you will be able to make it because not a lot of people are coming and I have only invited 61 people. None of them has said that they are coming yet.” A tall girl with an oversized bow in her hair named
Misuki said as she struggled to hold onto her books.
“Who did you invite anyways?”
“Well, I invited the leader of the crossword club, all of my neighbors, my grandma, my parents, my doctor, my orthopedic, my hygienist and everyone on the block” Answered Misuki with a proud look on her face.
“No wonder no one came.” Yoko muttered under her breath.
Petite legs swiftly made their way through the talking girls.
“I told you that you shouldn’t have invited almost everyone in the neighborhood!” A voice jumped out from behind them.
“Jeez Tsuki you don’t need to jump scare us. Were normal people trying to have a normal conversation you don’t need to barge in!”
Misuki was always frustrated with her younger sister’s actions. Yes, Tsuki was a shy girl but as soon as you got close enough to her then she was would be as loud as an airhorne around you. Tsuki wasn’t able to hold anything back with her best friends and that didn’t exclude her sister Misuki. Sadly for Misuki, her best friend Yoko felt different towards Tsuki.
“Totally. I would never have ever thought that Misuki would have that many people to hang out with!” Yoko joked.
“And that’s why I hang out with you. You’re exactly the same.” Misuki retorted.
Tsuki barged in once again. “Let’s just all agree that we’re all lonely and that were only friends because of it”
Each of their heads dipped in agreement. At least they wouldn’t argue over that.
