Another crap day in this crap foster care home, do you ever just think about someone you love so much knowing you won't be with them for a long time.
Yes, I'm talking about my mom.
I would love to be with her again, I'd do anything, I had the opportunity but jail isn't my ideal place to meet her and I'll wait as long as I have to.
"Lindsay, Megan, July, Ranaya" one of the foster care lady said as she peeped her head into our room.
There was two foster care providers, Jill and Karen. Karen was the evil one and Jill was the sweetest one.
There was 9 of us, but not for long someone was getting adopted today!!
"It's time to start cleaning up! I want this room spick and span, and don't forget to clean up yourself" Jill smiled.
"wait, Jill, can you please just tell us who's getting adopted today" Megan begged.
Speaking of Megan was my best friend in the foster home, she was a year older but it didn't matter to me. (She was 15)
There was Lindsay she was 13, and Ranaya was 12. They were all so nice.
There was Alexa 11, Tayla 10, Claire 8, Janet 11 and Melanie 14. I wasn't the only 14 year old. But it didn't mean I liked the other girl.
She was so weird, she wrapped Christmas lights around her body on thanksgiving and played her ukulele.
Not only on thanksgiving but on Christmas, Easter, when we go to the mall. She's truly embarrassing.
But she is fun to hang around.
"Aw guys, what if one of us gets chosen" Lindsay sighed.
"Don't even worry, we did this last year. No one wants a teenager, right!" Megan said not worrying.
"This is where you back me up and say-" she started to hesitate.
"Okay okay, right" I laughed. "Yea you're right" ranaya smiled.
"Mhmm right" Lindsay laughed.
"Let's just hug, just in case" I suggested.
"Okay sure" Lindsay laughed.
"Ok" ranaya said and Megan joined.
"God whatever happens to us is for the best" I smiled.
"Yup!" Megan said
"Right, exactly" Lindsay smiled
"So help us to support each other no matter what" ranaya smiled.
The hug slowly let go.
"Come on girls, let's get crackin here" Jill came around, she laughed.
"Oh yes of course" Megan said and we cleaned our room. We got out of our pjs into something we all bought at the mall, to wear today.

"Girls come on down!" Karen said smiling.
"Guys she's smiling" I whispered. They all giggled.
"Evil witches don't smile though" Alexa whispered and we giggled.
"Girls, meet the grays" Karen smiled again.
"He's cute" Lindsay said shoving me slightly.
"Oh you, stop" I whispered and laughed.
"He's staring at you! Or us.. maybe us" she said quickly.
I smiled at him and he returned the gesture.
"So hot" Lindsay said out loud. The girls giggled. "So hot, in here. I'll be back to get a drink" she said and walked away feeling so embarrassed.
"Well girls getty on up, we'll let you know soon" she said and we scurried up the stairs.
She held onto my arm. What does this mean, I'm the one?! I'm getting adopted!!
"But July you stay" Karen said.
All the girls turned around in gasp, knowing I was getting adopted.
"Go get us a glass of water" she said and I just knew it was just too good to be true. I sighed.
"and girls shoo!" She said brushing them off with her hand
"Okay yes m'am" I smiled.
"Why isn't there ice cubs in your drink? Isn't it so hot in here" I laughed.
"Oh hush" she pushed me and I laughed.
"My drinks July!" She demanded and I went over to her.
"That's a really pretty name" the boy smiled at me. "Thankyou" I blushed.
I started to walk upstairs with Lindsay.
"You, stay down here" Karen said.
"Me?!" Lindsay said in excitement.
"Nooo, July. You go on up" she smiled and Lindsay looked at me, with a frown.
"Oh why me" I asked.
"Don't be silly, you're getting adopted" she smiled.
Three times in a row she's gotta be drunk or crazy.
"What!" I started laughing.
The boy nodded his head. "So tomorrow we'll be here again and you can get your things ready by tonight" the boys mom smiled.
"Oh wow, thankyou. I won't let you down" I smiled and went upstairs in excitement.
"I'm getting adopted guys!" I said crying softly.
