6-Birthday

Today is August 21st, aka my birthday! Today I turn eighteen and I so happy to spend today with my friends. Since it's a Friday I'm going to go to the mall after school. Since it's morning I have to get ready; I walked into the bathroom and got in the shower. After my shower I put on a romper and some flip-flops. I put my hair is a messy bun and did my makeup. I went to grab my keys but they weren't on the hook. "Mom where are my keys?" I walked into the kitchen and saw my mom standing beside a pile of presents. "You get one now!" She handed me a small box and there was a set of keys. I thanked her and walked outside; there was a brand new Mini Cooper waiting outside. I grabbed my bookbag and dance bag then I drove to Alice's house. "Hey Evelyn, nice car." I laughed and asked her to open the dash board for the aux cord. When she opened it a present fell out. "Omg I forgot to open Wesley's present!" We pulled into Krispy Kreme and I opened it up; there was a locket with a picture of me and him laughing. The note read;
Evelyn, you are amazing and I couldn't ask anyone else. Open the locket, and carefully remove the photo there should be a piece of paper, take it out and put the picture back in.
I did exactly as it said to do. I grabbed the paper and handed the locket to Alice for her to put the picture back in. The paper said;
Evelyn will you go to homecoming with me?
I smiled and showed Alice she smiled and texted Carly and Rachel.
Group chat:
Carly: I'm so happy rn :)
Jace: Why because you get to see me ;)
Carly: Eww no, everyone meet at Krispy Kreme.
Alice: Already there :)
Evelyn(me): Same :)
Wesley: On my way
Jace: Ok be there in ten
Rachel: Here :)
Lucas: Be there in like five minutes
Everyone: Happy Birthday Evelyn
Evelyn(me): Thank you <3
We walked into Krispy Kreme and sat with Rachel. Carly, Jace, and Lucas arrived just as we sat down. Carly went to the counter and got some doughnuts. Once Wesley got here he came in with a present. "Hey Evelyn, do you like the locket?" I nodded and thanked him. He handed me a present and I opened it. There was a picture of me and the group at my dance completion holding my trophy. "Thank you Wesley!" I got up and hugged him. We went outside to walk and talk while the doughnuts were getting made. He grabbed my hand and I smiled up at him. "So did you read my note?" I laughed and showed him the paper. "Yes, this was a great present. Homecoming? Anything with you would be fun!" Wesley picked me up from off the ground when he hugged me. "I promise it will be fun." We went back inside and Alice handed me a doughnut. It was a frosted glaze doughnut with the words 'Happy Birthday' I thanked everyone and we left for school shortly after.

When I got home I went into the den and saw my mom on the phone. I set my stuff down quietly and sat on the couch. She hung up the phone and started giving me present. I opened all of them up and I got: an iPhone 7s, charm for my charm bracelet, a gift card for Sephora, $100, and some things for dance. I headed upstairs and changed for tonight. I put on a black dress and some black heels. I wore my hair in a bun with a navy blue bow. I grabbed my ring and bracelet. I grabbed my purse and keys then drove to Jace's house where we all are gonna meet. I pulled into his driveway and walked inside. "Hey ready to go to the club?" We all we're going to a dance club for teens.

I got home and got ready for bed. We had so much fun I am so glad to have good friends. I walked inside my bathroom and cleaned up. I took a bath using a 'Lush' bathbomb that I got from the mall a few weeks ago. After my bath I went to bed.
