Riley's POV
I walked up and down Kory's hallway, Pacing. Hearing Kalel's name again just... Got to me. "Riley." It was almost like an opaqe peice of paper, transfered into sound. "Riley." The voice. Her voice. It was translucent now. "Riley," it said, sounding less like her. "Stop." Transparent- like looking through glass. "Riley!" I snapped out of my dreamland. Drake was calling me, his voice annoying. "Umm, yes?" I complied. I hated drake sometimes, but he was my best friend. "Riley, you okay? Watching you pace makes me dizzy, you know." Alex had said, looking at me; My SBFFLAAE. Yes, i had just called Alex a SBFFLAAE, Super best friend for life and all eternity... We made that up in like, 5th grade. "Yea," i said, pinching the bridge of my nose. "I'm fine... just wondering is all." I knew that Alex had a crush on Kalel, but i did to. Being his SBFFALAAE, i should have told him, but he told me first. If i had, after, i would have made things more awkward.

He muttered, typing again. Alex sighed. "Like superheroes or something?" he asked, loking at Kory and his cell. Kory looked up, eyes narrowing. "I wasn't going to say something so gay. At least i would have made it sound cool." Alex glared, gritting his teeth. Uh-Oh. "Oh shut the fuck up, Kory." He growled. Drake laughed, pulling on red-orange hoodie strings and shaking his head.
"Guys," he giggled, sounding stupid. "We act like the characters off of south park." Kory rolled his eyes. "Oh yea? How so?" "Orange-sweatered pevert, Religious ginger, fatass loud-mouth and the one who gets annoyed by his friends bullshit." I said, walking away from them. But it was so true- 4 friends. How was it that the raven-haired kid was always best friends with the ginger? Kid flash and Robin, Stan and Kyle...
