Riley let the cold air seep out of the cracked window.

Alex knocked on the door as he sighed. "Riley, we need to talk about this." he said, his emerald eyes focused on the now-cold door. The door opened, and Riley made a sad look at the floor. "Why? What's the point? We were following that idiot and look what happened!" He shouted to his ginger friend. Alex sighed, pulling the strings of his white hoodie. "I don't know why, but something is happening to us and... Kalel is at Kory's house..." Riley looked at Alex, who gave him a concerned glance. "Fine." Riley muttered, putting his iphone in his pocket. "You left your window open." "I know." Alex raised an eyebrow but shrugged. "Okay, let's go." He said, unlocking his cool grey BMW. Riley took the front seat, looking at dark red brick buildings and clothes-lines that hung loosley on the thin wire. Alex shot him a glance. "You okay?" Alex questioned, his hands on the black-leather steering wheel. Riley gave a curt nod. "Do you still like Kalel?" He asked. Alex's eyes widened. "I-" Alex started, only to get cut off by a certain raven-haired teen. "Just say it." "Yes. Fine. I do." Alex gave up, rolling his eyes. "Do you like her still?" He said, pulling into the curb by Kory's house. Riley looked back at him. "I have no chance of getting her anyway..." he said, looking back out the window. Alex gave him a thoughtful look. "Dont say that," he replie, driving his car up the cement driveway. "I think she liked you anyway."

Riley hesitated, but gave a couple of loud knocks. Kory opened the door. His hair was messed and his red jacket was put on poorly. "Well if it isn't the emo and the ginger." He said with a smirk. Riley flipped him off and slipped inside. "Hey! i never said you could come in." Kory said, with a glare in his amber eyes. Riley stuck his tongue out. "Fuck you." he said, sternly. Alex flashed Riley a small smile. Drake was on the couch, a cigarette between his lips. "Don't bother Ri, talking to him is like talking to a fricking wall." Drake chuckled, opening bloodshot crystal-blue eyes. "You look hungover." Alex commented, with an awkward glance at the beer cans surrounding Drake. He smiled and rolled off the crimson couch. "I am more than just 'Hungover' Alex," he slurred. "I am very drunk."

Kory groaned. "You want a drink... other than beer?" Riley was the first to reply, "Vodka." Kory furrowed his eyebrows. "Ugh. Fine." He tossed Riley a Smirnoff and poured a glass of Cola. Alex sat on the loveseat, ignoring the rest of the guys. Riley sat on the armrest and Alex began to text unknown numbers. "Who you texting?" he said, drinking more Vodka. Alex typed more. "Zack," he responded, refering to the blonde-haired, brown-eyed friend that dated his cousin, Ash. "He broke it off with Ash." Riley nodded, knowingly. "Ask him if he knows when Mitch is going to text me back." He said, pulling out a cigarette. Alex nodded before typing again. "Kory," Drake began, drinking a glass of Dr.Pepper. "Where's Kalel?" Riley and Alex looked up at him too. Kory shrugged. "She'll be back later." He said simply while putting an orange straw into his coca-cola.
