Breaking in the institution

I smiled again and started walking towards the building. It was old and ruined down but still looked nice on the outside. "This will be easy and as simple as anyone in there makes it." The voice laughed again. I started to walk down an alley on one side of the building. I noticed a small hatchet running down the alley and into the building. "What about this?" I said to the voice. "What about it?" it said back. "Maybe we can use it to get inside." "How?" it asked. "Just watch." I said as I opened it. "Your not really going to....?" it asked with fear. "Yup." I said as I slid down the hatch and into the institution. I slid down it all the way and before I knew it, I was in a kitchen. "Well that worked." I said. "Yeah but not very well." the voice mumbled. I laughed and walked around the kitchen looking for anything else to use. The voice laughed and said "Take some of those knives, just in case we need to kill anybody else." Then I smiled and took two of the knives saying "Good idea, we might have to use them, very soon." I put two in each of my boots and one on my belt. I heard someone walking behind me and took another knife pretending I didn't notice anything.
