I climbed up the stairs to the second floor of my highschool and there he was. Just standing there talking to his friends. I didn't know if I should say hey or just keep walking to my locker. I decided to just keep walking, I mean who wants to interact with the person they like, right?

"Saph wait." I heard a familiar voice call out. I looked around to see him standing there waving at me.

"How are you gonna walk past me and nice say hey, but goodmorning." he said to me.

"Ha. I didnt't even see you," I lied, "goodmorning."

I went back to my locker with my doing a million backflips. What a great start to my day.

Lunch came around and as may you know, my table is right across from his. You may think this awesome but not really. Everyday I have to watch him interact with his friends and his ex-girlfriend who he presumably still likes.

Anyway I sat down at my table with my bestfriend Aleah. She got up to get her lunch so I was left sitting over there by myself and guess who comes and sits across from me. Yep, he does.

"Saph, can I ask you something?" he asked.

I chuckled softly. "Sure"

"Why do you keep staring at me and Lisa"

Lisa is his ex-girlfriend. I didn't even think he noticed that I was looking in that direction. Of course our eyes met once in awhile but I quickly looked away so he wouldn't assume anything. I guess this would be a perfect time to tell him right?

"What you had or well have with her, is something I.. uh.. want with you." I said.

"That's cute Saph, but um that can't happen because I love Lisa," he said, "alot actually and I'm hoping we'll get back together."

"You don't love her."

"What?"

I was almost as shocked as he was. I couldn't believe that had just came out of my mouth. What was I thinking?! Without responding, I got up and proceeded upstairs.

During fifth period, I felt a vibration from my phone in my pocket. I pulle out my iPhone to be met with a text message from him saying "Meet me in the basement. NOW". I asked to go to the bathroom and ran downstairs.

"What do you mean I don't love Lisa?" he asked.

"Okay then tell me about her," I responded. I could not believe I was actually having this conversation with him. Who would've known?

"Well ask me something. What do you wanna know?" He said.

"That is how I know you don't love her. If you loved her you would've told me how her smile makes your body tingle with warmth. You would've told me that her laugh is like listening to 1,000 angels sing a sweet lullaby. You would've said her touch is the only cure to your fustrations and problems. You would've said she's beautiful and she's even more beautiful when she cries and tries to use her hair to shield her face. You would've told me that you love her just like I love you."

I walked upstairs.
