The Demon Within III

The truth

Katie's POV

Going to college, meeting Harry, Sean hitting on me all the time, Harry rescuing me from Sean out in front of the school, getting kidnapped, Harry saving me, defeating Sean and the werewolves, getting married, having a child, the demons, doomsday, heaven.

They all came rushing back to me, hitting me like a brick wall to the face.

"H-Harry." He took the babies from my arms just as I fell off of the couch and onto the cool tiles below me. "Katie!"

Harry bent down to where I was lying so helplessly on the floor and clutched the babies to his chest, "Whats the matter Katie? Do you need water?" I whimpered as Sean made his way over to our spot on the floor and took my chin in between his thumb and pointer finger, "I've just come to warn you about what will happen in the future. Once this little girl is all grown up and looks like her beautiful mother, I will take her and make her mine, there will be nothing you pathetic humans can do about it."

He laughed as he turned his back on us and made his way towards the door,

"I'll be seeing you two soon, I will check up on my future mate as she grows up." He laughed evilly as he ran through the glass on the window and disappeared into the afternoon light, "Harry he's taking Natalie what are we to do? He'll hurt her just like he hurt us in the past, please Harry we have to get him arrested." Tears filled my eyes making my vision blur as I spoke through gritted teeth,

"Harry please we have to go after him."

"We don't have the power we used to have, we'd be powerless against him."

"Well we have to try!"

His face held an angry/shocked expression as he watched me struggle to rise up off of the cold tile floor, "Katie it's impossi-"

"No! No it isn't impossible, we can do it. Please Harry, help me up."

He sighed and set the twins down in their bed before helping me up off of the floor, "We have to track him down, I want him in jail!"

"He'd just kill the policemen before they could even touch him, it's useless Katie."

His fingers brushed the back of my neck making my eyes go wide, "Harry don't you dare-"

"I'm sorry."

I gasped as he jabbed my neck and fell unconscious in his arms.

========four hours later========

"Katie? Katie please, I need you to wake up. Please, the doctors are getting worried." I forced my eyes open and flinched at the bright white light shining in my face, "What happened?-" "Oh Katie!" Harry's lips crashed onto mine as he gripped my shoulders with his hands, "I missed you." "Where are the twins?"

"They're right here baby, they're safe. You just had some medication that knocked you out, but you're alright I promise." He held me against his chest as he tightly squeezed my back, "Harry, little bit to tight there." I laughed a bit as he pulled away and looked worriedly into my eyes, "Did I hurt you?! Oh I'm so sorry, do you want anything? What do you want to eat?"

"Stop being such a worry wart Harry, I'm fine."

He heaved a sigh of relief and ran a hand through his hair, "But seriously Kathryn, what would like for lunch?"

"I really just want a milkshake, so somewhere with one of those I guess. But am I allowed to eat outside of the hospital?"

He nodded his head and got up to get his keys, "The nurses will check up on you every once in a while, while I'm gone. Stay with the twins and stay in bed, you look pale."
