I heard Calum's puffs of breath and quickly turned around to see him running up the sand.
"ok they're melting really fast so- aH DAMNIT" Calum rushed his words as ice cream trickled down the cone and onto his hand. I took mine from his left hand and basically shoved it in my mouth.
"Thanks for this." I said through a mouth full of ice cream.
"Allgood, the ice cream is really cheap here anyway I-" "no not the ice cream" I laughed, cutting him off. "For this whole day you goober."
"Oh" he mumbled. "Anytime." Calum took one last bite of his cone and wiped his hands on his shorts.
I flicked my eyes over to Ashleigh and her.. Friend? Obviously with benefits if their literally makiNG OUT ON THE BEACH.
Calum clicked his fingers and his voice snapped me from my thoughts.
"You okay? What are you looki-" his eyes darted to the couple lying on a rug.
"Is that.. What the fuck?" His voice was quiet but far from calm.
Some one is going to have to tell Ashton. We can't just let him be in this relationship without knowing what's going on. How could she cheat on him like this? Especially after what she had done this morning. But I do remember, when Ashton and I were talking about it earlier, he did mention that she has cheated on him before.. A couple of times. Why would you do that to some one like Ashton???
"Do you think we should tell him?" It's like Calum read my mind as he spoke.
"Yeah we should, but I don't know how.." I replied, feeling a sudden sting in my hand.
"I will" Calum offered.
"No I saw them first you don't hav-" "Molly he's my best friend. Don't feel like this is your fault, it will sort itself out." He promised looking down at my jerking hand.
"Okay." I simply said, playing with the corner of my towel hanging over my shoulder.
"But first, we should sort this out." He took hold of my wrist, examining my hand again.
"But what if he doesn't believe us?" I blurted, still having the Ashleigh situation stuck in my head.
"Molly stop worrying seriously, I'll talk to him." He smiled and lead me up the stairs, back to the small patch of grass where the car was parked.
"So do you want to go to the hospital or" we had both now buckled ourselves in, and were back on the road.
"no no no no please no I hate the hospital." I pleaded while he tried to hide his laughter.
"Ok no hospital then." He assured me and turned down a street, heading back to the hotel.
"Thaaaaanks." I sang and he laughed again.
Once we arrived at the hotel, we grabbed all our stuff from the boot of the car and headed upstairs.
We were outside the door when we heard familiar shouting from the inside.
"I have to agree with Luke on this one." Shannon's voice definitely.
"You only side with him because you like him." Lyndsey oh my god.
"wHAT" Luke and Shannon together. This should be good. I pulled the door open to see Lyndsey had smacked her hand over her mouth, and Michael was going crazy with laughter. Shannon looked like she had seen a ghost, all the colour was drained from her face, while Luke's was as red as a lobster.
Calum and I entered through the door, and all eyes turned to us. Shannon came running to me giving me a warm hug, probably trying to get out of her current situation.
