Molly's P.O.V

I know it had only been a day, but it was so nice not being upset with Ashton, and him not being angry at me. I still think he should know the truth about Ashleigh, but I'm not going to be the one to sort that out.

I looked through the cupboards to find some breakfast, but nothing good was there, only some weird honey cereal. After pouring myself a bowl and deciding they tasted like plastic, I sat in my room, looking through pictures on phone. My most recent pictures, were the ones from the airport. It felt like forever ago when I met them, but now I'm here basically living with them, along with two of my best friends.

I flicked through a few more and came across a picture I had taken with Lyndsey. Now that I think about it, I hadn't seen her all morning.. Or Michael. It's usually one of them who wake me up, so I sent Lyndsey a text.

'Lyndsey where are you? ALSO WHERE IS THE GOOD CEREAL.'

It only took her a second to reply.

'I'm out for the day, don't miss me too much. P.S I may or may not have eaten it.. Ask Luke for some cereal, he probably keeps some on his pockets.'

I rolled my eyes at her text and put my phone down. I then got up to find Luke, taking Lyndsey's word that he'll have cereal.

Michael's P.O.V

I decided to take Lyndsey out again, I could tell she didn't want to because apparently I'm annoying as hell, but I didnt want to be stuck with drama all day back at the hotel so this was our only option. We went to a cafe of which I can't remember the name of but Lyndsey insisted it was the best. I ordered both of our drinks and sat down at the table Lyndsey had saved.

"Um I'm sorry but you can't sit there, it's reserved." Lyndsey said, holding back a smile.

"Oh really, reserved for who?" I leaned back in my seat, letting her know I was'nt going anywhere.

"Well," she started, "reserved for people who are'nt-" Lyndsey froze. She shot her eyes down at the table and placed one hand over her forehead, as if she wanted to hide her face. I glanced around and saw nothing but a few new customers.

"Lynds, are you okay?" She shook her head no, so I leaned forward in my seat and held her wrist, moving it away from her face. "What's wrong?" She looked behind me again, then quickly back to my gaze.

"Josh is here." Is all she said but before I could have any follow up questions, a loud "Lyndsey!!" came from behind me. A tall dark haired dude welcomed himself over to our table, and I just stared at him in confusion. Lyndsey looked horrified. I was the first one to speak. "Can I help you?"

"Oh sorry mate, I'm Josh, Lyndsey's friend." He held out his hand and I shook it. "Michael." I said, introducing myself. Lyndsey looked up at me in disgust, but I just shrugged. Josh took a seat next to Lyndsey and she quickly shuffled in her seat, getting as far away from him as possible. "We're not friends." Lyndsey spoke out quietly but sternly, and before Josh could reply, the waitress came over with our drinks. She placed them on the table and turned to Josh, "Would you like your drink ordered to this table too, sir?" she asked. Lyndsey took no time to answer for him. "No, he's not sitting with us." The waitress nodded and walked away.

"Aw babe, don't be like that." Josh had a grin on his face as he placed a hand on Lyndsey's shoulder. She quickly shrugged him off. I could tell something wasn't right.

"Uh sorry man, I think you should go." It was the only thing I could think to say. Josh stared at me blankly. "Are you gonna make me leave then?" He looked me up and down, raising an eyebrow. "No, I imagine you're capable of doing that yourself." I frowned, noticing Lyndsey quietly sipping on her drink.

"I don't know if Lyndsey wants me to leave though." He smirked down at her, and I saw his hand move down towards her thigh.

Lyndsey quickly removed her cup from her lips, and poured it over Josh.

"WHAT THE FUCK LYNDSEY, THAT'S FUCKING HOT COFFEE." Josh Screamed while Lyndsey shoved him off his seat, taking my hand. "C'mon Michael, let's go." She said hurriedly, pulling me out of the cafe.

We speed-walked down the street, finally stopping at a park with a bench we could sit down on.

"I'm so sorry Michael, I didn't even know he was still living here." Lyndsey said, sympathetically.

"You don't have to apologise! Who was he anyway?" I still don't know how they know each other.

"Josh is my ex, I thought I'd never have to see him again. I wish you didn't have to meet him." Lyndsey looked down at her feet, dangling over the bench.

"It wasn't your fault Lynds." I moved over and put a comforting arm around her. She leaned into my shoulder and sighed.

"Why are you so nice to me, nugget." I chuckled, rubbing my thumb on her forearm.

"Because you take the piss out of Luke." Lyndsey smiled, nodding and agreeing.

"I'm so mean to you though oh my god." She laughed and I smiled down at her.

"You're the only person I would let be mean to me." I winked at her, making her laugh a little but more.

Once both of us had stopped 'giggling', it was silent, and I was looking down at her. Lyndsey stopped playing with her hands and looked up at me, seeing I had gone quiet.

I removed my arm from around her, and turned so I could face her more. She seemed confused, but I knew what I was doing.

I leaned in, looking down at her lips. Lyndsey's eyes fluttered to mine. And just as I was about to kiss her, she flinched away, even pushing me back slightly.

"I think we should go back now." Lyndsey said before picking herself up and making her way back down the street.

I stayed seated on the bench for a few seconds more, trying to take in what just happened. I had to jog to catch up with Lyndsey, but even when I did, she kept her head down.

What did I just do?
