Hello, wonderful people reading my story. I think you! So anyway the point of this. First off I'm a positive person and I don't like plain negative comments (ie "your story sucks" or any variation of that), but constructive criticism is okay. I know I'm not perfect. Also, I'm warning you guys before hand my grammar isn't going to be that great. Well, it might be but I don't think so. If someone wants to be my editor, well you would be my savior. Also, this story will most likely not be updated on a schedule, why because I sort of have a life. Anyway, it bugs me too that authors don't update a story as much as I like especially when I love the story, but I understand that life gets in the way and I hope you all do as well. I hope you enjoy the story. Have a great day. Also on the side is who I have cast as Arden Johnson.
If you read this, which I kind of doubt anyone is, I'm going through the chapters I have written and I'm editing them so hopefully, this story won't suck as much as it already does. Yay!! That's a very sarcastic yay I hope you realize.

"Logan duck!"
Hi, I'm, as I have decided to call myself, Arden, also the person I called Logan name is Logan Davis, it is also not his real name. To clear things up the two of us are spies. Cool right, I mean who wouldn't want to spend their high school career in life or death situations. Right, you're confused about what's going on. Well hold on I'll fill you in on exactly what's happening later right now I need to concentrate on not getting killed. Which between you and me sounds like a grand idea.
"Home Base this is Ruby. Are you guys at the pickup spot because we have visitors and their not the stay over for tea kind, over,"
Code names are an essential part of being a spy it lets both sides know your not a random bad guy trying to kill off other agents. Also, if you were confused I'm obviously Ruby and Home Base is our high school's secret base that's in the basement because where else would you fit it.
I should also explain why we have the code names we do. Mines Ruby because of my natural red hair. Home Base I feel is a given, but in case it's not, it's the school. Logan's code name, if you were wondering, is Blaze because in our first simulation program freshman year he set everything in the sim program on fire. We tease him about setting everything ablaze for a few weeks till it became his nickname and eventually his code name.
"Ruby this is Home Base, Rainbow and Nemo are in route eta 2 minutes, over,"
"Thanks, Home Base, over"
Rainbow is Lydia Smith, again not her real name, and Nemo is Morgan White, also not her real name but we do have like three or four girls with the same name in the spy program too and I've decided to name them all Morgan because I'm the author of this story thing and what I say goes.
Lydia's code name is rainbow because she has dark brown almost black hair with multicolored dipped dyed ends. Morgan is Nemo because out of all the Morgan's she's the smallest. So Mrs. Lance started calling her Nemo during class and it stuck when we choose code names.
Yes, spies do you the "over" thing when talking on the walkie-talkies, it helps the people on the other side know we're done talking and that we weren't just interrupted or killed or something like that awful like that. Okay, I should go back to not being killed because I kind of enjoy living through my lifestyle may say otherwise.
"Logan we have two minutes till the people who will save our butts get here and then we can go home."
"Arden, we have to get to the pickup place first."
"I know I didn't mean here as in where we're standing I meant here as is this general area."
"The general area still isn't the pickup spot."
"By general area, I meant pickup place, stop arguing with me you and I both know what I meant so shhh."
"Whatever helps you sleep at night."
I love my best guy friend but some days I want to hit him with a frying pan. A few moments later once the cost was clear we make it to the pickup place. Yay!
"Rainbow, Nemo we're at the pickup place. Eta? Over."
"Eta is a little less than a minute, Ruby. Over"
Above us, two guys start shooting at us. Logan gives me the what next miss in charge look. I look around till I see a pile of scrap metal and wood.
"Run towards that pile now," I scream as I gesture towards it, "I can hit ugly one you get ugly two over their." Let me give you a quick descriptional layout, first off we are surrounded by a lot of factory buildings and were in a courtyard-like area. The reason being it's the only place the helicopter will fit. There are bad guys shooting at us from two different angles which is why we have different targets. The pile of scrap gives us an optimal position to shoot the guys but not be hit. I shoot the first one up about 10 feet and to my right as he's aiming for me; I make a quick calculation and shoot him in the knee this gives me a better view of the vital area to take him out as he's fallen down. I quickly make the shot around his temple, which goes through his brain killing him instantly. He goes down and the helicopter still hasn't shown up.
There are people that argue a girl shouldn't be the team leader, whenever someone makes a snide comment like that my friends start going over every split second decision I've made that's saved their lives. It's moments in the middle of a firefight that I show my true talents as an agent who can analyze a battlefield in thirty seconds, protect their partner and kill their intended target. Most people freeze up in a crisis, but me, well I come alive and act.
"Where in the world are they it's been over the less than a minute that promised us. Heck by the time we go there they should have been only 30 seconds away. We should have heard them as soon as we killed ugly one and two. " Three more guys appear one to our left and two to the right which is shielded by a few sheets of metal on both sides.
"How should I know right now concentrate on not dying right now." I see the three guys who had finally spotted us coming towards us. I reach down and grab my other gun attached in a holster on my left leg. "On your left Logan." He shoots ugly 3 to the left, while I simultaneously shoot ugly 4 and 5 on my right. Then our savior's comes. And NO it's not a prince on a white horse. It's the helicopter. Nemo (Morgan) sets the bulletproof helicopter down between us as more bad guys suddenly appeared right in front of us. It seems we were making too much of a racket killing of uglies 1-5. Meanwhile Rainbow (Lydia) gives us cover to jump into the helicopter, which then takes us to safety from bad guys with expensive guns who can't aim as well as they think they can. Once we get to safety in the air I lecture them for risking our and the mission's safety.
Good news we got back to the school in time for lunch and I'm starving, but I'm so NOT looking forward to chemistry, though.
