Chapter 3: New Life✔️

*Kaylee P.O.V*

We were heading to McDonald's. Me and Courtney both had our windows down just thinking about our new life. We pull up to McDonald's and Trey gave us $20 dollars a piece.

Courtney and I both said thanks and walked in. I looked around and saw people sitting around talking. I saw this one group of super sexy boys. They all looked at Courtney and I. This one was just starting at me. He was fine as hell.

It was this boy next to him that looked like him so I just assumed that was his brother. I went up to the counter with Court beside me and I stood in line waiting to order our food, While she was already ordering hers.

I ordered my food and I went over to the side and waited. My ticket number was 246. 

"Girl I know you see them fine boys over there." Courtney says to me. I nodded my head. "Yea I do."

The two that looked like brothers got up and walked in our direction. We were standing at the drink dispenser. They came over and got their drinks. One of them smiled at Court. She waved and the other one nodded at me. "Hey" I said waving.

They both walked back to their seats and I looked at Court and she was smiling hard as hell. I laughed.

"356!" The lady called Courtney ticket and she got her bag and cup.

"246!" She called a couple minutes later. I got my bag and cup. We walked and filled our drinks. We started walking out the door and I looked back. He was staring at me, I winked because I might not ever see him again.

A couple weeks later

Amber and Bonnie had came down to Cali for the rest of the summer break. With my Aunt LaLa who brought all the rest of my stuff down here in a moving truck.

Amber was telling us about her love life. She finally got that girl she always liked.

"Good for you girl, I know you wanted to wait for the special one before you came out, I'm happy for you."

"Me too" Courtney said.

We've been waiting for Amber to finally get someone she really liked. She told me and Court about it in the 8th but we never told Bonnie because she would judge. She found out and was just talking about she can't be her friend and it hurt all of us but she came back. She kinda still judge but not as much.

We was all talking but then we started to get sleepy, well they did. I checked my phone and it was 3:30 a.m. I needed a walk so I could clear my head.

I snuck downstairs and was opening the door, when someone cleared their throat. I turned my head and it was Trey. Shit.

"Hey" I said sounding super guilty. He looked mad, I really wasn't suppose to leave the house unless I was with him or Kelly.

"Where you going Kay? " He said in this sexy raspy voice. I didn't want to lie to him so I told him the truth.

"I was about to go on a walk."

He takes a long look at me, I started to get uncomfortable.

He sighs. "Okay, be back before 7"

What the hell was I gonna do out there that long? I nodded my head and grabbed my headphones out my jacket laying across the couch.

I walked outside and it was super quiet.

I put my earphones in my ear and started playing Best part by Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. I started jogging, trying to clear my head. It was some super nice houses out here.

I looked behind me and saw some guy in a black hoodie following me, I jogged faster and so did he. I turned a corner and looked behind me, he was gone. I let out a breath of relief but then I ran smack into somebody.

"Oh my god, I am so so---"

The guy cut me off smiling. "No need to apologize, I should've been watching where I was going."

I looked at him and remembered him from McDonald's a couple weeks ago.

"I-I remember you." I said stuttering. He smiled this million dollar smile. It was so genuine, but I loved it.

"I remember you too, from McDonald's" I nodded my head like an idiot making a complete fool of myself.

"So you live around here ?" I asked him. He nodded his head and pointed down the street.

"Yep that house right there." It was a really big 2 story house. "What about you, you stay down here or just visiting."

"I just moved down here, I can't show you where I stay, its further down."

He nodded. "Well can we walk together?" He asked.

"Sure." I said taking my headphones out and putting them in my leggings pocket.

"So what's your name ? I'm Kaylee." I say looking at him while walking. He smiles "I'm Chris, nice to meet you Kaylee." 

"You too." I smile putting my head down. 

We walked and talked getting to know each other better, he showed me places and told me about the neighbor hood. I went a little over the time I was suppose to be home but I'll be able to explain.
