third person
the two discovered that taehyung drove home frustrated because of some bad test grades he received.
taehyung isn't one to usually care about test grades, and that's what worries jungkook just a bit, but not enough to question him on it.
it became late and taehyung was passed out on his bed, jimin left earlier, and now jungkook had to leave according to his mother.
"kookie, thanks for staying with me. you can go, it's okay," taehyung spoke, startling jungkook.
"are you sure, do you need anything?" jungkook, being the worrier of the friendship scrunched his eyebrows up.
"nah i'm fine. if i really do need something i'll call you or whatever, oh and i'm sorry you had to leave school earlier for me."
"it's okay tae," jungkook gave him a hug and they bid their goodbyes, jungkook slipping his sneakers on and leaving.
little did he know that jimin was watching him from the balcony upstairs, the younger thinking jimin had left earlier.
stalker-ish? just a bit.
----
"ohh kookie! look what i brought! i got cookies!" taehyung said as jungkook sat at their lunch table.
jungkook smiled, he was happy to see taehyung in a better mood than the previous few days.
"that's nice taehyung. where's seokjin-hyung?"
"he went to the library to meet some girl, i think. min-soo? maybe her," he shrugged as he bit into a cookie and offered jungkook one, the younger taking it eagerly.
"i'm here!" seokjin shocked the two boys when he yelled out loudly and took a seat beside taehyung.
"ow hyung! are you trying to make us deaf?" jungkook said rubbing his ear.
"whoops. sorry my little babies," seokjin cooed and pat jungkook and taehyung on the heads.
"we're only a few months younger," taehyung muttered.
"yes and? you seem a lot younger since i advance quickly and i'm more mature," he smiles.
"shut up, hyung-" taehyung was interrupted by a loud slam of the cafe doors.
the three boys turned to look at who entered; jimin, yoongi, namjoon, and hoseok.
jungkook's eyes narrow, those four have never been in the cafeteria before, so what brings them now?
"i wasn't speaking of the devil, yet he came anyway," taehyung muttered, continuing to stuff the cookies into his mouth.
"anyways.." jungkook decides to change the topic.
"seokjin-hyung, how was the library visit with who was it? min-soo?" jungkook wiggles his eyebrows.
"don't ever do that again it makes me want to gouge my eyes out," seokjin shivered but a smile slipped onto his face afterward.
"oh yeah.. so min-soo," taehyung said taking a sip of soda he conveniently brought from home because as a school, they don't sell carbonated drinks.
"ah yeah. it went well! we're going on a date tomorrow night, i just have to figure out where," the older ran a hand through his hair.
"cool-" jungkook was cut off by a certain someone's voice.
"hello baby brother, jungkookie and whoever you are," he smiles.
"seokjin! hi!" hoseok smiled.
hoseok was elbowed by yoongi, "your inner gay is showing."
the statement makes hoseok clear his throat and quiet down, cheeks a light pink.
seokjin narrows his eyes, "hi hoseok, hello jimin. i'm seokjin, as hoseok just said and i would kindly appreciate it if you turn and walk away right now because it seems you're bothering jungkook and taehyung."
he looked to the two younger boys, who were looking away from the group but mostly taehyung who was covering his face with the paws of his sleeves.
jungkook was looking down at his phone, waiting until the boys passed.
"okay fine, but gives this to jungkookie," seokjin was passed a piece of paper that had a number on it from jimin who winked and walked away with the guys, hoseok waving animatedly to seokjin who gives a small wave back.
"do you really want this kook?" seokjin questions, opening the piece of paper.
jungkook shook his head.
seokjin ripped the piece of paper in half and threw it in the trash with his unfinished lunch.
