One we were drop off, we were met with a Japanese trying to prong a man with a bayonet, it was the day I got my first confirmed kill, "Good job Monkeyface!" One big burly marine said to me as he slapped me in the back, didn't really like what he said, but nicknames are nicknames. The camp sucked, mosquitos ruled the air as they tried to suck our blood, one person already got the Yellow Fever and is being tended to by doctors as I write this. People must really hate us because they always talking about breaking their necks or hanging them from a tree, but in this, I met up with the soldier that I saved from becoming a Shish kebab, he thanked me and we talked some more and it turns out that he was a medic and he was homosexual did I have anything against it, no, but marriage is suppose to be between man and women, but we eventually we became best friends, he use to be a doctor I told him my profession and he said, "Cool, people that are Christians say that I'll go to hell, do you believe that?" I told him no, but I said that I could baptize him, he seemed so excited and said yes, so I baptized him in the creek near by loads of people saw it and I earned the nickname of Saint. We were attacked by Japanese forces and we lost 10 men in the firefight, we had to move on and we were attacked by animals, their were injuries, but nothing serious like death. We fought off the japanese and won this battle, but there are still islands to take down.
