..."Takayuki!" a familiar voice called out, then it called again, "Takayuki!" My sight cleared and I saw my wife, "Wife!" I yelled and gave her a hug and kiss, but then I had to wonder, "Where's Samuel?" I said, Lieutenant then came through the crowd and handed me his dog tags, "Samuel Evans. Born: 3/23/19. Blood type: O-." I knew right there that he was dead. I was lucky, if that shrapnel was closer to my flamoral artery I could have died. When I was discharge from the hospital and got home, I was greeted by my son, Takehiko, repeatedly saying, "Your home daddy, your home!" We decided to order pizza and watch Loony Tunes and take it slow. Nothing is going to break us up. Nothing for I'm now home.
