Alexandra Cromwell was getting ready for one of the weekly banquets that King Henry VIII held but this banquet was not just a regular banquet. This banquet was a celebration of the new Queen of England, Jane Seymour. King Henry VIII had just married for the third time in his life. Alexandra was quite excited to meet this new queen. She had heard that the queen was quite sweet and charming. Alexandra was dressed in a light pink evening gown with a key necklace around her pale neck. Her long, wavy, dirty blond hair was down. She heard a knock at the door. It was her father, Thomas Cromwell. "Oh hello, father." Alexandra's pink lips formed into a warm smile. "Hello sweetheart." Thomas Cromwell smiled at his daughter before kissing her forehead lightly. "I need you to fix my hair before I go to meet His Majesty at the banquet dinning hall." Alexandra laughed softly. "I believe you need to stand up straight first. You need to look proud." Alexandra couldn't help but laugh as she watched her father look in her vanity mirror. "When you are stressed, I can always tell because you mess with your hair." Thomas just rolled his blue eyes at his daughter before she started to run her pale fingers through his dark brown hair, fixing it to look neat and proper. "I believe you are all set now. I have to finish getting ready. Please do save me a seat beside you. I would love to seat next to the new queen if you could potentially get me that seat. I'm awfully excited to meet her!" She smiled and Thomas smiled slightly before leaving his daughter's chamber. Alexandra was left alone to finish getting ready. She looked in the mirror, pinching her pale cheeks to make them pink. It was a secret one of her servants had taught her. She looked at her complexion for a few moments before walking towards her door and opening it, stepping out into the hallway. She walked down the hallway to the banquet which was just starting. She took a seat beside her father and the new queen of England. She smiled sweetly at the queen before the queen spoke, "Darling, who is this?" She asked King Henry, referring to Alexandra. "That is Lady Alexandra Cromwell. She is Thomas' daughter." The queen Jane smiled at Alexandra. "I can already tell she is a lovely young woman." Alexandra smiled brightly at that statement, thanking the queen. She noticed Edward Seymour that was sitting two seats down across from her. Alexandra's green eyes slightly scanned Edward' face. She did not quite know who he was. Alexandra slightly nudged her father's shoulder. "Yes, Alexandra?" She looked at her. "Who is the man with dirty blond hair? He is sitting two seats down from us." Thomas looked over that way. "Oh, that is Edward Seymour. He is the queen's eldest brother. He's a brilliant young man. I have spoken with him. Would you like for me to introduce you after dinner?" Alexandra's pink lips formed a warm smile. "Yes, I would like to meet him."
