I see you there, don't think I don't
You're filling up my vision like smoke
I feel you there, creeping up my spine
Threatening to consume my time.My hands they shake, but we've met before. You aren't a stranger knocking at my door. My ears they ring like the roaring seas, why won't you just let me be?
I stop and breathe, you need to go.
You aren't welcome here anymore.
But closer you sneak, the shadow on my back, I'm waiting here for the sun to call. But the darkness slinks across my arms, as my body starts to sound the alarms. It's just an attack, I think I'm free. But all that's here is just it and me.
I'm slowly spiraling out of control, down I've fallen into the rabbit's hole. There's no escape, the shadow can't wait. I'm a prisoner who's life is left to fate
