Think of Darius as a normal teenage boy with shiny grey hair like silver and brilliant yellow eyes. He wore a plain light purple hoodie with blue jeans and a pair of blue sneakers. Except for the fact that his grey hair was unnatural, nothing else seems special about him except his smarter-than-average IQ. Though this bores him because some lessons being taught are most of the things he already knew. Like now. He's currently waiting for the bell to ring for two reasons: One, he was bored and Two, he already knew the lesson. "Just one more minute, come on. Ring already" He muttered. When it did ring, everyone immediately went out, but then his teacher called him "Oh, Mr. Driftwood" he called. Sighing, he backed away from the door and approached him "Yes sir?" he asked "Darius, as we all know, you're the smartest student in the entire Freshmen division" He said. Only because most of my schoolmates here are too lazy to learn anything , Darius thought "So other schools should be looking for you and giving you recommendation of their own but this particular school have some interest in you that is.... very unexpected" His teacher said "How so?" Darius asked "Because the requirements in this school are very hard to ........ attain or achieve" this sparked Darius interest "What school are you referring to?" He asked. His teacher sighed and gave him a pamphlet "Its the A.F.G: The Academy for the gifted" Darius eyes widened in shock.
Darius POV
The A.F.G. is a school where only students with supernatural or amazingly human talents. I know I'm smart but I can't be that smart. I'm just smarter than average. I'm nothing special except maybe from my phenomenal hair color but that's just it. I went home, reading the pamphlet for information about the school. Luckily, the pamphlet proved to be very helpful but unfortunately, I was ALONE. Fun fact about me is that I have a friend, two weeks ago but he moved away due to work. So, I'm alone. Going home to school. In a school bus. Filled with noisy teenagers....... ANYWAYS, the bus stopped, I got off, taking my bag with me, and went home. A million questions came to mind: What would happen when I tell my Aunt Celestine? How would she react? What would happen if I accept this? But as I opened the door... I was greeted with confetti and a hug from my sixteen year old cousin "Congratulations Cuz!" she cheered. Unfortunately, she had...... what I could say.... a busty figure so her chest was actually suffocating me.... and for the fact I don't like this. Not one bit.Penelope, or Penny, is a girl with blond hair with sparkling blue eyes. Her hair is long and wavy and she has milky white skin. She wore a hot pink shirt and jeans with pink high heels. Fun fact about her is she likes to hug or cuddle me, for which sometimes suffocates me and actually gets me close to death. Fortunately, Aunt Celestine was here to save day "Penelope, come on give the young man some air, will ya?" Noticing my arms going limp, she released me from her hug of embarrassing death "I'm so sorry Darius, you know me. I get too excited sometimes, you know" She apologized "Its... alright....Pen...nelo..pe... just... don't do that again" I said between pants. Aunt Celestine smiled "Well then, like Penny said, congratulations" Aunt Celestine was a tall woman of sorts. She had long wavy hair like Penny but only black. She has milky white skin and piercing grey eyes. She wore a grey pantsuit and pumps. She looked a like a model but she's really an police investigator. She definitely a woman you don't want to mess around with. I raised a brow "Congratulations for what exactly?" I asked "Its about your offer to the AFG silly!" Penny said "And how did you know that?" Aunt Celestine rolled her eyes "The school sent us a letter first before contacting the school" She explained, handing me the letter. I anxiously took the letter and read it:
Dear Darius Driftwood
I am happy to announce you have been offered an admittance and scholarship at the A.F.G.: The Academy For the Gifted. Classes Start on June 27th, Monday. Pack your belongings and here's a ticket for the bus to the school. The school also provides dormitories so you'll be living here for until three years or at the end of college. Hope you accept our/my offer
Sincerely yours,
Principal J.
I checked the letter for any sort of way for this to be some sort of prank "I already called the school, It's real" Aunt Celestine said "THIS IS RIDICULOUS!" I exclaimed "There's no way I'm going to some school faraway because of some scholarship for no good reason!" She sighed "Look, I know that fitting in is hard enough and moving away is even harder but this is a great opportunity for you. Not everyone gets this kind of chance you know" Then I sighed "But what should I do? This decision is very hard to make" I said, unsure what to do. Aunt Celestine sighed "How about this, try staying for a week, a few days or more. Then if you change your mind about staying there, then I'll find away to switch you back again" I thought about. She makes a valid point and made a very compelling case. As expected from an investigator like her. I sighed, nodding "Fine, I'll take it" then they both cheered "Hooray! Oh My Darius is going to the AFG!" Penny exclaimed. Processing information....... Buffering....... Did she say MY Darius? "What did you just say?" I asked. She suddenly blushed and quickly changed the subject "Hey, let's go to the movies, my treat!" She exclaimed "Sounds fun, Let's watch that "Fantastic Beasts" movie. I heard that it's Harry Potter Spinoff" I said, forgetting what happened due to the excitement of viewing the movie "Okay then, lets go!" She said, grabbing my arm "Hey, no need to pull!" I said

As Celestine watches his nephew being dragged by Penny, she smiled "They all grow up so fast" She said "Which means he's nearing his time" Said a shadowy figure "I know. The least I could do is to prolong that time" She said, slowly showing a sad expression "Its inevitable Celes, you can prolong it as long as you want but you can't stop it" the shadow said "At least he should be ready by that time" Celestina said, looking at Darius who was laughing at Penny's crying act "I hope you're right Celes, I hope you're right" The shadow said in agreement before disappearing.

I'm still working on this but feel free to comment on my mistakes so I can edit it better.
